Azazel - Pt. 2
Rei then brought Azazel to the Trialpots, in order to give him a rundown on what can be done.
"Alright, if you'll lay down in here, then we can begin!"
"Okay, all I have to do is lay down here?"
"Yes. Just lay down and then follow my instructions."
"Well, here goes nothing!"
With that, Azazel laid down inside the pod. Directly after his head had hit the pillow, the pod closed and drove back onto the wall, looking like a sleep-chamber made out of matte metal and glass. Once the pod was in position, Rei began talking to Azazel inside the pod.

"1, 2, 3, can you hear me?"
"Yes, I can hear you without problems. Now, what do I do?"
"First you need to just say out loud, what kind of environment you want. In this case, to test the runes, you want a laboratory specialized on runecraft, filled with magical and natural energy from your home world."
"Okay. I want a laboratory specialized on runecraft, filled with magical and natural energy from my homeworld."

Once he had said so, the surroundings perceived by Azazel changed from a former white space to a modern laboratory, with all kinds of tool, some of which he knew,, some others he had no idea what they were for. He also suddenly felt his surroundings being filled with large amounts of magical and natural energy, identical to those back in the human world.
'This! It feels so real! Is this really a simulation?'
While Azazel was still marveling at this experience and the new and unknown tools, Rei continued his guidance.
"Now you need materials to experiment with, so all you need to do, is, once again, state your wishes. And please do it as precisely as possible, concerning the amounts. Because if you just say, for example, 'I need steel', you could potentially get several tons or just a few nanogramms of steel, completely randomized. What you can do however, is giving vague amounts or approximates. So if you say 'I need a bit of steel' you would get about a handfull. You can also get yourself already complete objects, no matter how rare they might be. Be it a baseball bat or a godkilling sword. All you need to do is wish for it, and the simulation will provide it for you. You also don't need to worry about food, drinks, sleep, injuries or death, as none of it will affect you in reality. You may also choose to alter the time ratio up to 100:1, so you have more time to research. however, after a certain time limit, the trial pods will eject you out forcefully, if you have not logged out untill then. However, you will receive a warning about ten minutes before you are ejected."
"Oh, really? That will be immensely helpfull to my research. Is there anything else, or can I start experimenting already?"
"I have nothing more to add. However, do keep the time in mind, as I have no Idea, if and when you need to go back."
"Mhm, alright, got it."
'Pah, I won't go back there so soon. Shemhazai will kill me either way for disappearing on him. Well, I#ll just set the time-difference to 2:1 for now.'

'I finally got it! Now I can form simple runes consisting of magical and natural energy on surfaces and air without problems! This should help immensely with my sacred gear study! But before I try that I will have to experiment on how these runes work with different kinds of energy...
Well, guess I'll have to leave that for next time. I don't want my death to be too cruel...'
"Exit Simulation!"

and with that Azazel woke up within the trialpod. After he stood up the pod moved itself back onto the wall, all the while he was still looking at it full of marvel and envy. Yes, envy. I mean, which researcher wouldn't want this kind of pod? It could save you an immense amount of time, after all! Not to mention the costs for conducting experiments would become zero, since it was all within a simulation until the optimal path had been found.
'Alas, I won't be able to buy one from here, I guess. But this could be a good project for the future!

sorry for not uploading this long I somehow just don't have any idea on what to write.
Put together the following things:
- little to no motivation
- school
- no inspiration
and you get my situation, soo... yeah
I will try and write more, but I need ideas for that, and right now I've got none. At least none that make sense and fit this novel.
As such, if you happen to have any, any fitting idea at all, PLEASE tell me. 'Cause I've got no idea.
