Lunch In The Cafeteria

In the office, Chuck, Sandra and the bodyguards all walked out and went to the cafeteria for lunch, when they got there, they were welcomed by the waitress who directed Chuck and Sandra to a table of two while the bodyguards were directed to a different table. Lunch later was served to them and they began eating.

There were other people in the cafeteria who were having their lunch who kept on murmuring to each other wondering who Chuck was. They have never seen Miss Sandra the director of the secretaries with a man before except the old man who they didn't even know was the president.

The ladies onlookers were so envious when they saw how Chuck was handsome and they wished to be the ones sitting next to him, while the men kept their eyes on Sandra who was so beautiful.

Who is that young man having lunch with Miss Sandra? one of them asked, I even saw them yesterday having lunch together said another man, I want to be the one to marry the beautiful Miss Sandra, another one said, the others turned to him and they laughed very loud which made Sandra and Chuck to turn to the direction where those men were sitting.

Do you even look at yourself in the mirror, do you think Miss Sandra can take you as her friend leave alone getting married to you? one of the men asked the young man who said that he wished to be the one to marry Miss Sandra.

Let me tell you, do you see that young man sitting next to Miss Sandra, he probably comes from one of the richest families and that's why he is even being allowed to dine in this cafeteria.

I have never seen that man again so I don't think he is an employee here so it must be the case that he is rich and he comes here to visit and have lunch with Miss Sandra.

The onlookers couldn't help but kept on talking about Sandra and Chuck, little did they know that Chuck soon or later was the one to take over and be the president of Westminster hospital.

They later left the Cafeteria upon finishing their meal. Chuck and Sandra on the other hand were done eating and were just chatting and laughing. After not more than thirty minutes, they also left the cafeteria and went back to the office. The afternoon work wasn't a lot so they weren't in hurry to start when they got back to the office.

As they were talking, Chuck received a call from his old man, he quickly pressed on the receive button and Said, Hello grandpa, how are you doing? am well my child how are you doing back there in the office, hope you have taken your lunch? Yes grandpa we have already had our lunch and now we are back in the office. How about you, have you had your lunch yet? yes my child and I also have a surprise for you so please don't stay too long in the office. With that the call was disconnected.

A surprise? Chuck murmured to himself what did you say again? Sandra asked, she heard Chuck talk but she didn't understood what the man said. Chuck turned to her and told her that it was his grandpa who called and told him that he has a surprise for him. What do you think it is? Sandra asked, I don't know, my grandpa had promised to but me a Rolls Royce maybe that's the surprise he is talking about but anyway let's finish with the work here.

A Rolls Royce, Sandra asked Chuck, your grandfather is buying you a Rolls Royce? I have never rode on a Rolls Royce. I will drive you around when my grandfather buys it for me, Said Chuck. Thank you I will be waiting.

Sandra Checked on her to-do list and told Chuck that they needed to prepare tomorrow's meeting agenda first.

By the way Chuck will you be attending the meeting? Sandra asked. Am not sure about that my grandpa hasn't told me about it but I think I will although I wouldn't want him to announce my relationship with him tomorrow. Why? don't you want people to know who you are? Sandra asked with a shock on her face, no it's not like that, the thing is, my ex wife is one of the doctors in this hospital and am sure she will be attending the meeting. I would like her to see me but not know anything about me, at the moment I want her to think that am just an employee.

Your ex wife? Sandra asked she never thought that Chuck has ever been married leaving along having a girlfriend cos they have never talked about their love life. Yes I was in an arranged marriage although the person I was married to never even liked me later she cheated on me and together with her mother, they forced me to divorce her and they threw me out of their house. I was later kidnapped and that's when I was rescued by my grandfather's bodyguards and took me to his house.

Do you have an idea who castigated your kidnapping? Sandra asked. I have a reason to believe that it was my ex wife together with her new boyfriend although I don't know the reason, I still believe that they were the ones behind my kidnaping, the kidnappers told my grandfather's bodyguards that they were send by a young man named Louis and they were ordered to kill me but luckily my grandfather had hired a private directive to spy on me, he was the one who informed my grandfather about my kidnaping and that's how I was rescued.

Sandra was so shocked upon hearing that the handsome young man sitting next to her was kidnapped and was about to be murdered. Am so sorry Chuck for what you went through, hope one day those who castigated the plan to end your life pay dearly. Sandra said. One day they will all pay that one am very sure of I will make them regret their actions, their time is coming.

Time was not on their side so they had to get back to what they were doing, after finishing with the preparation of the meeting's agenda, they settled themself to the other task according to Sandra's to -do list. and one by one they were done with their work. They arranged the desk in order then they settled on the couch and switched on the TV.

They Stayed back in the office enjoying the music show on the TV for not less than an hour. It was then that Chuck remembered that his grandfather had requested him to go home early. He turned to Sandra who was sitting next to him and he called out her name, Sandra the beauty of town, can we go home now, my grandfather had requested me to get home early today which I had forgotten. Alright handsome I was even getting sleepy, Said Sandra.

They all got up but before they could leave, Sandra told Chuck that she needed to use the washroom, she went direct to the washroom as Chuck was left on the couch waiting for her. After not more than five minutes, Sandra came back from the washroom and they all left the office and went straight to the elevator which took them to the parking lots located in basement three. Upon reaching the basement, Chuck accompanied Sandra to where she had parked her car only to find out that one of the tires was low on pressure.

Ooh no, what am I going to do Sandra asked, it's Alright Sandra I will help you change the tire, do you even know how to do that? Sandra asked Chuck. Don't worry about that just unlock the car and hope you have a spare tire in the trunk. Yes I believe there is one although it had never been removed ever since I got this car so I still believe that it's there, she unlocked the car and Chuck open the tail gate of the car and luckily the spare tire was there.

He later checked where the wheel spanner and the jerk were after taking them out, he started unscrewing the wheel and within few minutes, the job was done. Sandra was so thankful to Chuck then Chuck told Sandra that she much either take the tire for repair or get a new one on her way home. Where can I get it repaired, do you know of a place? Sandra asked.

Alright just give me few minutes. Chuck went to where his car was parked and told the bodyguards that he will ride in Sandra's car and that they should follow them to a car repair shop. Chuck went back to where Sandra was, Settled himself behind the wheel and drove away followed by the bodyguards.

They got to the repair shop and Chuck got out of the car he later came back followed by one of the attendants who removed the tire and it was repaired within no time. Sandra Thanked Chuck, waved him a goodbye and left after Chuck waved back, See you tomorrow Sandra drive safe.
