Email To The Doctors
Its was lunch time Chuck, Sandra and the old man Mr. Miller were still busy in the office, Chuck was really enjoying working beside his grandpa as well as Sandra, he kept on staring at the beautiful lady each and every time he got the chance. My child are you hungry? Asked grandpa, yes am hungry although it seems like we have a lot to do here. It's ok my child Sandra will take you to the cafeteria to have lunch, what about you grandpa? Chuck asked, Sandra will get me fruits on your way back. With that Sandra and Chuck left to the cafeteria.
When they got to the cafe, Sandra ordered food for both of them and they settled down on a table which had only two seats, within no time, food was brought and they both started eating. It was almost half and hour and Chuck had finished his lunch after Sandra was done, Chuck couldn't help but ask, for how long have you been working for my grandfather? about six years, Sandra said. That's great that means you and my old man are in good terms? Something like that, Sandra said.
Ever since I started working for your grandfather, he has been a good boss to me and he even treats me like one of his own, he once told me that he has a grandson who he has never set his eyes on, he only saw him in a picture when he was a small child a picture that was taken by a private detective whom he hired to secretly protect his son together with his family Although later the son and the wife succumbed in a road accident but their son survived. Ever since he has been looking for you all over and now you are here safe, energetic and handsome.
Sandra, Chuck called, are you flattering me? the way they were chatting, one could think that they have know each other for decades. However, they just met that morning they were really getting along well. It was time to go back to the office when Sandra ordered the fruits for the old man and they both got out of the cafeteria which was located in floor number 95 and it was only used by the board of directors. They got to the elevator and went back to the office.
Upon seeing them back, old man Miller was pleased with how they were both walking beside each other and he couldn't help but comment about them. It seems you are both getting on well with each other. Chuck nodded in agreement which made Sandra's face look shy. She then got to the sink, washed the fruits and handed them over to her boss who by then was sitting on the couch watching television. Thank you Sandra my child said Mr. Miller with that both Chuck and Sandra settled themselves on the desk and continued with their work.
At around 3pm in the afternoon, they were both really working hard but the work load was a lot for them and it was time to go home when Mr. Smith the vice president came in holding a file, he settled down on the couch where Mr. Miller was sitting and they had a conversation about promoting one of the doctors to the director of clinical services since the Current Director was about to retire from being a director he had worked for the hospital for a period of not leas than 10 years and now his time was almost over.
Mr. Miller requested Sandra to write an email to all the doctors and inform them that there will be a meeting in the conference room which was located in floor number 103. Sandra nodded in agreement and she drafted and email and later it was sent to all the doctors including Dr. Allison and Dr. Dorothy who had attended to Chuck the night he visited the hospital for treatment.
Allison was having late lunch with Louis in a hotel when she received an email which was sent directly from the office of the president of the hospital. No on in the hospital has ever met the president so she was shocked to receive an email until she opened the email and saw that it was about a meeting and in the meeting they were to send a fare well to one Dr. Hoffman who was the director of the clinical services and also to discuss on who will be the next director.
The meeting was scheduled to be held in three days time in the afternoon.
She had always wanted to be promoted so she was happy to receive the email hoping that she will be the one to be promoted, even though she wasn't a good person to Chuck, she took her work very seriously and she was always devoted to her work and with her hardworking, she was promoted to the head of the medical team and she was looking forward towards being the director of the clinical services.
The vice president later on left the office and Mr. Miller turned to Chuck and Sandra and told them that it was time to go home Sandra switched off the computer while Chuck arranged the documents that were lying unsettled on the desk.
They all got out of the office and went straight to the elevator accompanied by the bodyguards. When they reached to the basement 3 which was for the president and the vice president, The driver was ready and waiting for them. Sandra on the other hand waved them a goodbye and got into her own car and left immediately.
It didn't take long For Chuck and grandpa to leave the building and they went straight home. When they got home, both Chuck and grandpa went to their own rooms to freshen up. Later that evening, Chuck got out of his room and went downstairs to join his grandpa for dinner. They both had their dinner and they later settled to the television room and once the news on the television was over, grandpa went to his room leaving Chuck alone in the TV room.
Chuck was later feeling sleepy and tired at the same time so he went to his room to rest.
Back in his room, he texted Sandra inquiring about the things that they were to attend to the following day. Sandra was a well organized Secretary so she forwarded her to-do list to Chuck who later send her a thank you and a good night message before retiring to bed. Sandra on the other hand sent him a reply message of a good night and he covered his body and within no time he was occupied in the dreams.
