1 Chapter 1: Mistake

Betrayed. Disgusted. Annoyed. Anger. All of the feelings came together as one as she saw her most trusted person, her own sister was moaning underneath the man that she called her fiancée. What a lousy fiancée and shameless step sister.

She 'waited' for him for about six hours and to make it more interesting, she even donated her blood for 'him'. Worried as someone from the hospital called her and said her fiancée was involved in an accident and less than fifteen minutes after the nurse took off the needle from her arm and brought the blood bag into the OR, only then she found out that the man in the OR was not her fiancée, they misunderstood the person identity when they found Jace's name card inside his pocket.

It was no wonder when she called Jace's mother to inform her that he was involved in an accident, she wasn't shocked and was so calm. The woman told her that she was out of town and asked for her to wait for him at the hospital on behalf of his mother. She wasn't a cruel person. Even though, she has no feeling for Jace, yet! At least she was considerate enough and still has humanity moreover to think that he was going to be her husband.

In fact, she was in the middle of her rehearsal for her next show when one of the nurse contacted her manager and thus she was here! How come they knew how to contact her? Well, her engagement with Jace was known to the public. So it was easy to reach her if they contacted her manager.

To make it simple, Jace was using her as he always mentioned her name wherever he went. At first she was kind of annoyed for letting him using her name but then, since he was just causing hype to make himself known and there was no harm in doing so, so she let him do that. At least, she can use him as an armor from the men that continued to pursue her.

But she can't believe that things could turn out to be this way the moment she received the call, she immediately rushed to the hospital mentioned. Right after she arrived at the hospital, a nurse showed her into the operation theatre and the doctor said, they need a blood transfusion and her blood type is O-negative, she volunteered to help. Right after she was done donating her blood, a group of people came towards her. She was still on the bed. Confused.

~ 2 hours before she caught Jace in the Act ~

"Thank you for donating your blood for my son Miss…."

"Holy Sh*t…Adrianna Winters…." She heard a girl gasped next to the woman.

"Your son?" Adrianna asked. Bewildered. Who is this woman?

"Yes…the one in the OR is my son and doctor said, you donated your blood for him..thank you so much…we-….."

"Wait…you mean the one that doctors were operating is not Jace Philip?" she cut the woman's sentence once again.

It was their turn to be confused. "No..it was my son, Liam…who is Jace Philip?" the woman asked the girl next to her.

"Her fiancée…" the girl answered as she was still staring at the face of her idol in disbelief. It was like a dream comes true to finally meet someone that you admired.

Then they saw another man, walking towards them "I am sorry Ms Winters, it seems like the hospital made a mistake by calling you, actually it was my boss Mr Liam Lockwood and one of the nurse, saw Mr Jace's name card in his pocket and she thought it was him and made a mistake by calling you instead…" A man explained to her. He was quite calm compared to the young girl. Maybe he managed to hide it well or maybe he wasn't that interested in her like other men.

"You are…"

"I am Kyle Black, the PA to Mr Liam Lockwood and this is Mrs Linda Lockwood, his mother and Alexis Lockwood his younger sister…" Kyle introduced the woman to her and finally Adrianna realized that it was a mistake.

She sighed. "Never mind...I-I need to go…" she spoke as she started to walk away. Adrianna clenched her eyes as suddenly she felt like she was about to lose her consciousness. Damn, she hasn't eaten her dinner yet and she skipped her lunch too and now, she was 'drained' of her blood only to make a mistake.

"Oh dear..are you okay?" she heard the voice of Mrs Lockwood full of concern.

"I'm..oka- .." she couldn't finish her sentence as her view suddenly turned pitch black and she fainted.

Adrianna's eye lids moved as she tried to adjust to the light inside the room. Her heavy head also made it hard for her to open her eyes properly.

"Look mom, she's awake…" she heard a voice of a girl. "Why is she so beautiful even though she's sick? How come someone like her exist…" the voice continued dreamily.

"Shhh…stop embarrassing me…" she heard Mrs Lockwood voice.

Adrianna finally opened her eyes and looked at the IV drip on her arm. She wanted to take it off but someone hold onto her hand.

"Don't...just let it finished…"

"What happened to me?" Adrianna asked.

"You fainted, doctor said, you donated too much blood and you didn't eat anything that's why you fainted...I am sorry for causing you trouble after what you have done for my Liam." Linda spoke and she turned to look at her daughter. She was still gaping her mouth as she stare at Adrianna's face, unblinking.

"Alex, stop gaping your mouth…bring me the food…" The little girl Alexis brought the food and gave it to her mother.

"Eat this, only then you can go home…"

"It's okay Mrs Lockwood, I have to go…thank you for your concern…"

"Please, I insist…" the woman spoke again.

Adrianna sighed. "Okay, but can I call my manager first?"

"Don't worry my dear, your manager is waiting outside…eat this porridge first, then I'll call your manager inside."

Adrianna had no choice but to eat the food and right after she finished, she saw her manager Alicia came into the room and helped her out of the ward so that they can leave.

"Thank you once again Ms Winters…" Mrs Lockwood spoke and Adrianna walked away before she turned back again.

"I hope your son would have a speedy recovery Mrs Lockwood…" she spoke and saw the woman smile beamingly at her and she turned around and left the hospital.

~ Back to current situation ~

Adrianna felt like her blood is boiling again when she remembered that he disconnected her call. Then, he had the audacity to turn off his phone and normally he will turn off his phone if he had important meeting, but she didn't aware of any meeting since he was working with her dad.

Feeling something wasn't right, she called his friends' Jason and Mark, they said; he was resting at home. To be exact 'their home' that her dad gift them after they got engaged. They were going to move in together after they got married but he said, it would be easier if he moved in first since it was near to the office too.

Adrianna pulled out her phone and she recorded the scene before her while trying to stop herself from puking. What a gross scene. But it was needed for future 'reference'. After making sure, she managed to capture the 'important' details of them, she stopped the recording.

'Time to kill some bitches…' she smirked as she pushed the door opened and the two person on the bed jumped with surprised when they saw the intruder. Jace, her fiancée quickly pulled up his pants that was hanging low down his buttock, explaining how much he was rushing to get into 'action'. On the other hand, Nancy, her step sister scrambled to take the blanket to cover her nakedness.

"Sis…Ad-Adrianna…"she stuttered

"Baby…w-what are you doing here?" he asked as he glanced between her fiancée in front of the door and his 'lover' on the bed.

Adrianna said nothing as she walked into the room and pulled down a chair from the vanity table. She took out her perfume from her handbag and sprayed them all around her to get rid of the 'smell'.

Nancy face was red as she saw what Adrianna did and she clenched the blanket tighter around her chest.

Adrianna finally looked at them after she was done. "So, accident huh...someone called me and she said you was in accident. Was it you suddenly tripped over the bed and accidently putting your d*ck inside my sister's v*gina?" Adriana spoke casually while inspecting her manicure before she glared her eyes at the end of her sentence.

Both Jace and Nancy got goosebumps listening to her intonation and expression. They never saw this side of her before. She was always with her poker face when she was off stage. They only get to see her smiling face when she was in magazine or runway. She rarely got angry too.

"What are you talking about?" Jace was puzzled.

"Sis..it wasn't what it looked like?" Nancy, tried to reason, she stood up from the bed with the blanket covering her naked body.

"Oh really? You think I am stupid? How long has this been going on?"

"Baby…"

"Stop calling me that, you disgusts me…you think I am her where you can sweet talk to bed and acting like nothing happened and it was a misunderstanding?" Adrianna snapped at him.

Both of them shut their mouth. It's true. They couldn't say anything as they were caught in act. They were lost in their pleasure when Adrianna pushed the door open.

"Adrianna? Please…I know, I made a mistake but I really l-love y-you…I…" Jace was quite reluctant to say the 'L' words and Adrianna knew why.

"Love? What kind of bullshit are you spitting? Yeah, you 'love' me but you love her p*ssy more right?" Adrianna scoffed. Unbelievable. How come she was involved with this kind of people? She hold onto her head, trying to control her anger.

Nancy gasped as she scrunched her face as if it was hurting her to hear Adrianna talking crudely about her. On the other hand, Jace gulped his saliva. He was screwed. Big time screwed. How did she knew that he was here? Adrianna wasn't the type to check on her fiancée. He always did what he want without afraid of getting caught. It has been a year since he hooked up with Nancy behind her back. Today was supposed to be his one year anniversary with Nancy.

He knew she was busy with her rehearsal too, how come she suddenly 'came back' home when he was 'deep inside' his lover. To make it worse, they haven't got their release yet.

It has been one year since he and Nancy started dating and he started 'cheating' on Adrianna. To be honest, he never loved Adrianna. He just fancied her, well he admitted that Adrianna was beautiful, smoking hot to be exact, a top model and an heiress but Nancy suited the title of his girlfriend better.

Nancy knew what he liked, she treated him well in bed whereas Adrianna refused to sleep with him until they are married. They were only engaged because of her family. Adrianna's always busy too. She rarely accompanied him for function or party. It was always Nancy. Since then, he was smitten by Nancy.

Jace told his mother that he wanted to marry Nancy right after he started dating her but his mother forbade him from doing so. It was because, they have to wait until he married Adrianna, only then they can secure the inheritance that she got. Yes, he loves Nancy but he can't lie that Adrianna's money is a whole temptation.

Adrianna is a billionaire. She inherited her grandfather's company; Winters Corporation and she is a famous supermodel too. It's like a win-win situation when her father, Mr James Winters reached for his old friend's son's hand for marriage with his one and only daughter, Adrianna.

How about Nancy? Truly is, she was Adrianna's step sister. Nancy's mother, Olivia married James five years ago and since Nancy was about the same age as Adrianna. They quickly became close especially since Adrianna was an only child.

Adrianna and Jace got engaged two years ago. Though she never refused the marriage but she always act as if it was nothing. He never got to kiss her, moreover to bed her. But, he was proud when he saw his name next to Adrianna's on the tabloid or in the internet. He loved it when his friends, were jealous of him for having a billionaire supermodel as his fiancée. Jace attention was back to Adrianna when he saw her took out her phone.

"Dad? I want to break off the engagement with Jace Philips but It's not my job to tell you why?" that's what she said before she ended the call straight away.

Jace grimaced at her tone and before he could say something. His phone was ringing. He knew it was from Adrianna's father, Mr James Winter.

"Go on. Answer the call. Tell him yourself" Adrianna encouraged him as if she was challenging him.

"Adrianna, You knew why all of this happened! " Jace defended as he refused to answer the call.

"Oh really? Why is that? Care to let me know Nancy?" She turned to look at her step-sister's face.

"Sis…please, I knew that we shouldn't do this but I really love Jace. He is my first love and we both love each other and I know you never love him right, just forget about all of this and please don't make it hard for Jace." Nancy finally spoke her mind.

Adrianna scoffed as she stood up from the chair. "You know what, I actually don't care if both of you love each other but what I really care is after using me and my dad for your own reputation, you betrayed us…" Adrianna paused and continue "…and don't talk nonsense about how you guys are in love because I know it wasn't love but because she was willing to open her legs for you and that's why you chose to betray me right?" She completely ignored Nancy's pleading as she spoke directly to Jace.

"Nancy got nothing to do with all this. I admit it was me but I truly love her, why don't we just forget about this…I knew my mistake for cheating on you but you never regard me as your fiancé anyway so why would you bother?"

"Jace…It was my fault. Don't blame sister. It was my fault for falling in love with you and betraying my own sister...sis, if you really love Jace, it's okay...I'll step back and forget about my feelings..." Nancy was at the verge of tears and acting as if she was the victim in the situation.

What a shameless woman!

"Nancy...what are you talking about, I love you. I'll make this right. I'll talk to your dad and mom and explain to them, they will understand, you are a Winter's family members too" Jace tried to comfort Nancy.

Adrianna was bored listening to their conversation "Whatever…" she was ready to leave the room when suddenly her manager or her best friend pushed the door open and her eyes bulged looking at the three person in the room.

"W-What is going on?" Alicia asked Adrianna but the latter said nothing as she walked to left the room and Alicia can understand what had happened since she can see Nancy wasn't wearing cloth except the blanket and Jace was shirtless with only pants on.

"Wow…I was totally right…" Alicia muttered before she left to follow Adrianna.
