Why am I stuck??

we walked for a few hours and now we finally reached the road and there were men waiting for us. Mark and I sat in the car but suddenly the cat stopped and at the next moment we were attacked. I was trying to hide but Mark went out. I covered my ears and closed my eyes after some time someone taped my head. It was Mark. I hugged him tightly till I realized that he was bleeding.) 

Carla:"you are bleeding!!" 

(I took a handkerchief and tied it around his hand but he got hurt in many places) 

Mark:"stop being stupid. A small handkerchief won't stop this bleeding" 

Carla:"Then why did you go out? I was so scared" 

Mark:"because this is my work"

(he shouted at me) 

Me:"yes this might be your work but why am I stuck here. You said I have something to do with Lucas but I don't even know him. If Lucas is the reason I am here then let me meet him why are you in the middle" 

Mark:"I already told you to keep shut" 

( we went on another car and they gave me something to eat but this time i denied) 

Mark:"eat it or you want to die" 

Carla:"no last time you mixed something in my food and I fainted so you can't fool me twice" 

Mark:"you have to eat this" 

Carla:"no i won't" 

(he pulled me towers him and his face was a few inches away from mine) 

Mark:"if you won't eat this I have to feed you" 

(he said in a husky voice.) 

Carla:"no i won't eat" 

(he grabbed my face) 

Mark:"you still have a chance" 

( I was scared so I nodded my head) 

Mark:"that's good" 

( I ate the food but this time I didn't faint. We reached a big house and some guards showed me a room. I was so tired that I slept quickly) 

Mark POV

(we were in the car but enemies attacked so i went out of the car. They were all armed my other team handled them but one of them came towers with an iron rod I grabbed his road and attacked him on his head then I was attacked by a few others so after handling everyone I went to check carla she was hiding in the car covering her ears like a baby i taped her head and then she suddenly hugged me tightly I don't know why am I feeling something in my heart which want to hug her back after sometime she left the hug and i don't know why i want her to hug her back and never leave. She took a handkerchief and tied it around my wound on my hand. At that moment I was lost. I came back to consciousness when I saw tears in her cheeks. I can't be polite with her so I shouted) 

Mark:"stop being stupid a small handkerchief won't stop this bleeding" 

Carla:"then why did you go out. I was so scared" 

( she was about to cry and I something inside me didn't wanted to see her cry) 

Mark:"because this is my work" 

(oh shit why did I shout again. I just screwed up and now she might cry so I should listen to her) 

Carla:"yes this might be your work but why am I stuck here. You said I have something to do with Lucas but I don't even know him. If Lucas is the reason I am here then let me meet him why are you in the middle" 

(what does she mean i am in the middle? Does she hate me? Wait, it doesn't matter if she likes me or not I just have to handle her for a month and then it's over. But why does my heart flutter?) 

Mark:"I already told you to keep shut" 

(We sat in another car and when she was offered some food she denied.so I thought to tease her. I pulled her towards me and said in husky tone) 

Mark: if you don't eat I have to feed you "

(she thought we mixed something in her food again. I grabbed her face lightly her cheek were soft like squishy) 

Mark:"you still have a chance" 

(maybe she was scared so she nooded her head and I laughed inside for her child like cute baby)
