Chapter Four - Turning Point

JF was a great best friend of mine but we had lots of arguments.

"do you want to go to town with me?"

I smiled. I loved meeting up with JF. We had great fun.

I can remember the time that we got soaking wet from the water fountains at the park near the town centre and then went into the shops dripping wet.

JF was pregnant so we went to a baby clothes shop and you could just tell that they weren't happy at us coming is dragging water puddles with us. They had to mop up after we left, was funny at the time.

I had hoped to go with her but it turns out that I had got plans to hang out with my parents for the day.

Yeah... Turns out that I ended up going to town with my parents and whilst we were happily in a cafe having something to eat and drink, we saw JF and her new boyfriend.

JF was going out with SZ but they broke it off and now she had a new boyfriend who I never really knew much.

You wouldn't think much of our day out because I enjoyed it, however then there was the turning point. The point that changed things forever.

The following day I received a bunch of mean text messages making fun of the fact that I was a virgin at the age of 16, saying

"Fuck off you mummy girl"

"fuck of you ugly fuck. Jealous. Get my age right you spastic"

"fucking mummy girl, jealous fucking mummy girl and wrong age ugly fuck. Now never text me again just because you're a virgin jealous"

The texts are the exact words from the sender except I corrected their poor spelling. It still upsets me to this day.

I saved the texts so you guys can see them. I got the sender's age wrong and that really cost me, there are more though - it doesn't end there.

"go back to school you spastic mummy hurl ur div"

"Well it's true and that's not my age and no one complaining apart from mummy girl"

"16-year-old mummy girl, Megan the virgin"

Obviously, I was trying to defend myself here, I was still in shock and angry over the texts.

Who could've sent them??

Yeah..., that still remains an unknown answer.. :(

This brings me back to the Christmas disco at our college.

We were giggling and having fun and somehow we landed on the subject, I was still a virgin.

So, you see. This upset me even more because I knew that the only person who knew I was a virgin was JF.

Could she have sent them??
