Where am I?
In the year 3015 Earth wasn't the only planet inhabited by humans as they soon colonized planets in their solar system and branched out. And with further colonization and as technology advanced faster than ever. People only took advantage of people more and more and the richer just got richer.
The Protagonist Xavier has no surname as he was born an orphan. At the age of 18 he moved to a different city, tired of the scenery. He soon settled down near the slums barely managing to get by day by day.

"NO! GET AWAY FROM ME" screamed a mysterious stranger.
Waking up from a nap drenched in sweat, the only thing that can be seen in this small unfurnished room is a frail boy atop ragged bed sheets . As Xavier gets up from his nap he looks at himself in the mirror.
"AGHHH this is the 5th nightmare I've had this week, and it always ends the same way" for some reason with no explanation Xavier would have nightmares at least 6 times a month. It was a recurring problem and although he had gone to talk to an old friend, he knew him from the orphanage.
His friend had been adopted but they still kept in touch. Because of this Xavier knew that he had gone off to study medicine and was a year away from getting his degree. Not having enough money to go see a real doctor he goes to him. But even then he didn't know what was wrong and just summed it up to stress and anxiety.
Feeling a slight hunger from accidentally skipping his lunch Xavier looks at the clock on the wall, 2:30 am. "I hope the gas station is still open at this time" said Xavier while tightly holding onto his stomach.
The street was empty and eerily quiet except for a group of drunk men walking home. They would always come home early after failing to grab the attention of a lady at the bar they went to. It was shocking that they had enough willpower to keep going after being turned down every day. Xavier couldn't say much in that regard as he had never had a girlfriend.
Walking closer to the corner store he walks inside and gets himself a pre-made sandwich and one of his favorite sodas. Walking out of the store he hears a loud scream coming from the direction of his apartment.
"NO NO NO NO NO fuck that im just gonna wait here" as Xavier uttered those words another scream was heard but time asking for help.
"HELP, SOMEONE HELP!" screamed someone in the distance.
Xavier looked around frantically, being frail and hungry he didn't have the courage to go over and see what was going on. Forget about helping whoever needed help.
As Xavier walks toward the screaming it only gets louder and louder. And there under a streetlamp there's a man tied to a chair with seemingly no one else around.
"HEY!!! Dude are you okay!? What happened? Who tied you up here?!?!" said Xavier and the man responded "Yes I'm okay but hurry!! I don't know who tied me up I didn't catch a glimpse of who it was".
Untying and finally freeing the woman Xavier looks around to see if he can spot the person that tied this woman up. As he's looking he starts feeling a tingly sensation all over his body. His head feels cold and he starts feeling a sharp stinging sensation almost like hes getting a brain freeze.

"Wake up!! Wake up!!!" screamed the man that he had just untied "QUIT SCREAMING" yelled Xavier
As he opened his eyes his mouth jaw hit the ground. It was day, the sun was blinding and he struggled to open his eyes. When he did all he saw was the man he had previously saved and around them both was a huge plain. There were trees and mountains in the distance.
"Where are we?" Said Xavier "I couldn't tell you, in fact I was waking you up hoping you would have a clue as to where we were at".
"Yeah no I have no idea where we are, well seeing as we are both lost. My name is Xavier what's yours" Looking at the man before him he looked to be in his mid 30s' and had a full grown beard, while he struggled to grow stub on his chin.
"My name is Julius, I woke up i'd say like 5 minutes before you. It's hard to say, my phone and watch stopped working. I've been trying to get them to turn on but nothings working. Try yours"
Xavier looked at Julius a little upset as he could barely stay alive these days there was no way he was gonna have a phone. "I don't have one sorry".
[Oh I mean seeing how he's dressed I don't know why i bothered asking he wouldn't have a phone let alone something we can use.]
"What did you just say to me? I know I might be poor but we're both in this situation together" said Xavier fuming from the blatant insult Julius had just thrown his way.
"Kid, what are you talking about? I didn't say anything. Don't tell me youre going crazy from the situation we're in" said Julius. Baffled Xavier looked at the man with watchful eyes but just as he was about to utter another word to him a voice was heard but this time it wasn't Julius talking.
[WELCOME YOU TWO, I SEE YOU'RE BOTH FINALLY AWAKE. TOOK BOTH OF YOU LONG ENOUGH. RIGHT NOW YOU'RE BOTH INSIDE MY WORLD, ONE I MADE MYSELF. YOU TWO ARE HEROS HERE TO SAVE MY CHILDREN IN WHATEVER WORLD THEY MAY LIE IN]
"Wait what Xavier are you hearing this too. I'm hearing a voice in my mind" Xavier looked at Julius and nodded as he was also hearing the voice.
[THIS IS THE FIRST WORLD I HAVE SENT YOU TWO ON. I EXPECT YOU BOTH TO HELP MY PEOPLE WHEN YOU'RE DONE I WILL SEND YOU TO THE NEXT AND THEN THE NEXT. SURELY YOU'VE BOTH FELT THE IMPLANT ON THE BACK OF YOUR NECKS]
Simultaneously Julius and Xavier rubbed their hand on the back of their necks and they felt a cold metal protruding out. Xaviers was shaped like a circle while Julius was shaped like a square.
