53 Travelling

The moon is still up, and four-hooded people stood outside the By The Coast Pub. Gilbert yawned and stretched his body, and blinked his eyes. He didn't get enough sleep last night due to his hand.

"The carriage is ready, Your Highness," Albert said to Evan and nodded. Then he turned towards the graves where Ashley stood. Evan slowly walked towards her.

"Mother, Uncle Ben. I'm off now. But I promise I will revisit you soon." Ashley said as she put some pink carnations above the stones. 

"Let's go, Ashley."

She turned around and nodded. Then she started walking towards Evan and walked beside him.

'Take good care of her.' 

Evan stopped to look back. But there's no one there.

"What's wrong?" Ashley asked.

Evan stared for a while in the direction of the graves. Then he shook his head. "Nothing."

Then they walked towards the carriage, waiting for them.
