Suddenly, a loud growl echoed in the forest. Ashley's face turned red as she covered her face and looked away. 

"I'm sorry. It's just..." She apologized.

Eludore maintained her composure, 'I think we should eat first.'

Then the giant serpent wrapped her tail around Ashley and lifted her. She placed Ashley on the top of her head as she said, 'Let's go.'

"Wait. What about my companions?" 

'Don't worry. I already told my minions to take them there.'

"Where are we going?"

'To my house.' Eludore answered and slithered towards the Serpent River. 

As they traveled towards the river, Ashley asked Eludore a few questions. 

"So, are you the guardian of this forest?"

'Those foolish humans still call me that? Not because I lived here for so long didn't mean I'm the guardian of this place.' Eludore ranted. 'They even called the river by my kin. What's wrong with those humans?'
