5 Chapter 5 Wolf shifter

Kyra POV :

When Wolf fell to the ground, I was shocked. He looked very dirty. I quickly ran toward him, scanning the area outside, but there was no sign of any people.

"Hey... Wake up... Wake up." I patted him. And miraculously, he opened his eyes. I let out a sigh of relief.

He opened one eye and then the other, revealing his ocean blue eyes. It was the same wolf I had met in the cave.

"Are you okay?" I spoke softly, without feeling afraid of him.

I didn't know who had saved me and brought me here, and now the same wolf was staying here. He must be a pet wolf.

But what happened next left me shocked to the core.

The wolf turned into a human. I found myself immediately captivated by his ocean blue eyes, which now appeared dark, as if someone had punched him. His face was dirty, and I couldn't help but glance at his impressive physique before quickly averting my eyes.

A wolf can shift into a human.

A wolf can shift into a human.

I couldn't believe it.

"I can't believe it." I muttered, still in shock.

"Are you shocked?" he asked as he stood up. Subconsciously, I nodded my head.

"I know no one can resist my handsomeness." he said, flipping his hand through his hair.

I didn't reply. I was too overwhelmed by what I had just witnessed.

"Hey, female, I know I'm incredibly handsome, but you can't stay in such shock." he spoke again, naked and seemingly moving closer to me.

As I saw him inching closer, looking intensely into my eyes, I almost wanted to slap him. However, he suddenly let out a loud scream that made me want to cover my ears, snapping me back to my senses.

"Ahhhhhh... Darn it! They ruined my face," he said, panicked, as he looked at me. "Hey, listen to me, female. I'm not that ugly, but those females beat me. They're evil."

He looked anxious and started explaining to me how handsome he was, but those evil females made him look ugly.

"Hey... Hey, calm down... You're not ugly. It will go away if you wash your face." I reassured him. I hadn't even figured out where I was, and here I was, comforting this wolf man.

"But why did they beat you?" I asked as I looked at the wounds on his body. Tears started welling up in his eyes, his entire gaze filled with unshed tears.

He looked so sad.

I felt bad for him.

"They... they *sniffle* beat me because... they always liked me, but... and when they found out I brought you home, they became jealous. I went to tell them I didn't like them... but... but *sniffle* they beat... me... I know their evil plans..." he spoke, pulling me onto the sofa animatedly.

I felt sorry for him, especially because how could anyone beat such a cute guy?

"Oh god! They've beaten you cruelly. But why didn't you fight back?" I asked, and he looked at me and nodded his head.

"I can't fight back... I respect females," he rubbed his face, his nose turning red. Then he looked at me and smiled.

My heart melted at his smile.

"Oh, let's forget about those evil females. But what should I do? I have dark circles and dirty skin." he started getting anxious.

"Why don't you wash your face? And for the dark circles, you can apply an ice pack." I suggested, and his eyes lit up.

"You're right! Hehe, sometimes my brain simply doesn't work because I don't use it, so others won't feel dumb." he said, running into one of the cottage rooms.

"..."

Speechless, I watched his retreating figure.
