2 Chapter 2 beautiful female

Lucas POV:

I stared at the sky as I sheltered under a tree. Today was my turn to guard the tribe, along with two others who were in different areas.

It was raining heavily, and I didn't want to get wet. I really hate it when my fur becomes wet and smells stinky. I sat on the ground, growling and thumping my paws. I looked around, but I couldn't see anything through the rain.

Now I had to guard the tribe all night. I was easily bored.

I put my face in my crossed paws and looked at the same place. Suddenly, I smelled something heavenly. I sat up excitedly and ran toward that direction.

My fur became wet; yuk! I hated it, but I still went toward that smell. I stopped near when I felt the fragrance was stronger. It was coming from a small cave.

It's a female.

I sniffed but didn't find any male beasts around, so I quickly went inside.

But why was the female alone here in such a dangerous place?

I was shocked when I saw her. In the small cave, the female was huddled in a corner with her eyes closed.

She had long red hair that covered half her face, so I couldn't see her whole face, but my heart was thumping wildly.

I think she must have known about my presence because she opened her eyes and looked at me.

My heart skipped a beat.

Gorgeous hazel eyes, misty and looking at me. Her face was fair yet pink, with tear stains on her cheeks. Her pinkish-red plump lips opened a little bit, but when I walked towards her, she looked at me in fear. I tilted my head, wondering why the female was scared of me.

I decided to comfort her, then take her with me and mate... now my life would be settled. I shook my wet fur.

I walked closer towards her, and she closed her eyes. Feeling confused because of her behavior, I quickly put my paws near her legs and tapped softly. I know my paw pads are very soft.

She opened her eyes in surprise and murmured, "There's actually a friendly wolf..." and she looked at me. I nodded my head. I'm always friendly to those I like.

"You actually understand me." she said, surprised, as she came towards me and touched my head. I lowered my head, enjoying the pats on my head.

I decided to turn human, but before I could do that, the female hugged me softly, still caressing my fur. I tilted my head.

She must like my beast form. Who wouldn't, because I have the thickest fur coat, and I don't shed much.

"You're so comfy, Wolfie." she murmured before I felt her fall asleep in my arms. I looked down at her and took her with me.

I must take her to a tribe healer.
