Chapter 115 Their mark
"My mark." he whispered, his hands quickly stroking the dark scaled snake mark on her skin. The snake's head climbed protectively over her shoulder. Why hadn't it been there until he kissed her?
His fingers touched his red eyes, which started glowing. "Priest was right. I am your protector. My mark extends from your back to your shoulder." His eyes were blank as he looked at the mark, but a gleam of light appeared in them.
He understood the mark, as the snake-shaped mark on her body seemed to indicate that he was protecting her.
Lucas, listening behind the door, burst in. "Where is the mark?" His blue eyes widened at the sight of the protective snake Mark on her back.
"It didn't appear until I kissed her." Vincent explained, his fingers tracing the mark once more.
