FIRST DATE

ALEXIS

As I got dressed, I had just realized that Aiden and I were going on our first date.

I squealed. How should I dress? The usual way boyish way I do or girly?

I remembered how Aiden looked at me the first time I changed my dressing.

It would be nice to see him shocked again.

I quickly showered and threw on a baggy t-shirt as usual ( the real dress was going to come as a surprise to him)

I held his hand and smiled at him"Let's go "

He tightened his grip on mine"okay"

We walked out hand in hand and taking in the sight of everything around us.

"Should we take pictures too?" I asked .

Aiden nodded his head and smiled"Yes"

"Let's take it in that park over there".

I bought a camera in a nearby shop and we took selfies with lots of funny expressions.

We bought ice cream and talked about when we younger.

"Hey, do you remember when we came here when we were 5?" I asked Aiden .

Aiden laughed "Don't talk about it. Keep quiet"

"So you remember it, you cri-" I was cut short as Aiden's lips were on mine.

Nice one , Aiden. I give you a thumbs up.

He refrained from me."Should we visit an arcade later ?"

"Yes but I have to go somewhere real quick"

I ran out and went to the nearest mall and purchased a small white flowery gown.

I changed into it and headed back to the park where I'd left Aiden.

"Let's go "I said as Aiden turned to look at me.

His gaze trailed me from top to bottom and we held eachother's gaze.

He didn't say anything and his expression remained blank.

"What is it? Do I look that bad ? I wanted to surprise you "I said pouting" I'll go change"

I was about to leave when Aiden grabbed my hand"Pretty. You look really pretty"

I relaxed at his words and smiled "Thank you. Shall we get going?"

"Yes"

We went to the arcade and played several games.

When it got dark, we walked back to my place.

"I had fun today. Thank you"

"Me too"

We held eachother's hands and gaze longer.

None of us wanting to leave the other.

I finally decided to break it "I'll get goi-"

I was cut off as Aiden pulled me and hugged me.

"I was really happy today, Alexis . Thank you"

I smiled as I hugged him back"I was happy too. Thank you "

I refrained from him "Get home safe"

He kissed my forehead"Goodnight"

When I turned around to walk in, Grey appeared from behind the wall.

"Hel-"

On seeing him, I acted on impulse and rushed him in. I couldn't let Aiden see him and get all angry again.

"What are you doing here?" I asked him.

"You weren't in school today so I was worried"

"You?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes. I thought we became friends yesterday. I'm hurt to see you treat me like this "

I scoffed and then something hit me. "How did you know where I live?"

Could it had been Katherina?

Grey shrugged"I asked around"

I gestured towards the door"Just get out. I'm exhausted"

"Let me stay for a while. I'm sure you rushed me in so as not to be seen by lover boy"

"He would have gone by now so get out" I said pushing him towards the door as I opened the door I saw Aiden standing Infront of it.

"Alexis,you forgot your-"his eyes went to Grey who cheekily smiled as he waved at him and said"Hello"

"Aiden,I can explain" I rushed to say.

"Just take. You forgot your bag"Aiden said giving me the bag and walking away.

I pushed Grey out and ran after Aiden. I wasn't going to end my day like this.

AIDEN

I could feel my blood boil the minute I saw Grey.

Why was he in her house?When did he come? How did he know where she lived?.

A million thought ran through my mind.

Despite the fact that Liam and Grey bullies me , I hated their guts because Alexis adored them nevertheless.

Seeing him around her made me anxious.

That day when I saw the video of Alexis and Grey smiling at eachother came to my mind as my anger heightened.

She only smiled Infront of me. That's how it had always been.

And that's how it should stay but why does she keep on hanging around that jerk.

"Urrgh" I screamed.

"Aiden, wait up!" I heard Alexis call running after me but I didn't stop.

"Ah" Alexis shouted as she fell to the floor.

I turned around and ran to her"Are you okay? Are you badly hurt?"

"This is all your fault!"Alexis shouted"I wouldn't have gotten hurt if you'd just stopped"

"Hey, can't you tell that I don't want to be around you right now because I'm angry?"

"I can tell that but why won't you give me a chance to explain. You are looking at me that way because you think I invited him in or something absurd like that!"

She was right. I was thinking that.

"You scare me , Aiden "she said I'm shaking breaths"Whenever you get angry at me , you really scare me"

I looked at her to see her eyes brimming with tears."Alexis, i-"

"I didn't want today to just end like this but you were so insistent in avoiding me."she wiped off her tears "I'm really tired. We didn't fight this much when we were best friends"

I hugged her back as tears streamed down my cheeks"I'm sorry"

I'd been so petty and inconsiderate to her "I'm really sorry"

She clinged onto me tightly as she sobbed.

After a while,she stopped crying and looked at me "About Grey-"

"It's okay. That's not important right now.let's get you back home "

She nodded her head as I carried her bridal style and headed back for her house.

When we got in, I placed her on the couch and examined her injury.

"Does it hurt alot?"

She shook her head"No"

I cleaned her wound and treated it regardless.

"Now that it's all good. I'm going now "

I turned around to leave when Alexis held me back.

"Can you stay the night?" She asked shyly.

I smiled as I nodded my head.

In her bed, we laid cuddled in eachother's arms as we slowly drifted off to sleep.
