14 BRINGING UP THE PAST
KENNY
I couldn't stand seeing Alexis get hurt everytime because of Aiden.
They already seemed to be be shaking so adding a final blow to them won't be that bad.
I was hanging around them as a 'friend' but I couldn't remain a friend forever to Alexis.
Especially with the way I feel about her.
I showed Alexis a little silver necklace.
"Do you remember this?" I asked.
Alexis grabbed the necklace as she stared at it in awe"Oh, how do you have this?"
"You don't know?"
"I remember giving one to Aiden when we were kids but-"
"That wasn't Aiden, it was me "
I'd thought long and hard before dropping this nutshell.
It was me. She met me first. we fell in love with eachother first.
Aiden was living my life!. The thought pissed me off each time I saw them walking together to schoo l but then after he became her mate,I couldn't do anything about it.
"I-I don't understand"Alexis stuttered. What she was hearing wasn't making sense.
I held her shoulders"Aiden's been lying to you all along"
She broke away from me in tears "Exactly, explain that!!!"
I pulled her into a warm hug"Later, I promise. I've missed you, looney"
On hearing the nickname, Alexis hugged him back. He truly was the one she'd met when they were younger.
He was the one she'd fell in love with not Aiden.
"WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?"A loud voice thundered breaking Alexis and I apart.
We turned around towards the sound of the voice to see Aiden standing on top of the staircase.
I watched as Alexis walked over to Aiden.
"Aiden, all these while ..did you deceive me?" she asked in tears.
"What do you mean?I'm the one supposed to be angry.I just saw you in his arms after you promised me you'd stay away from him!!!"
"You've always been keen about staying away from him, why? Is it because you were scared I'd find out?!"
"What the f**k are you talking about, Alexis!?"
"This!"Alexis shoved the necklace in front of Aiden "You lied to me all these while Aiden"
Aiden looked at the necklace in shock"How did you get-"
"From Kenny"
Aiden looked at me with murderous intentions in his eyes.
"You f**king bastard!"Aiden shouted at he lunged at me and punched me.
His attack threw me off my feet and landed me on the ground.
He climbed ontop of me and punched me fervently.
Our little fight slowly started attracting a large crowd.
I finally got the strength to push Aiden off me.
"Stop it, both of you !"Alexis pleaded but her pleading fell on deaf ears as we both transformed to our wolf forms and launched at eachother growling and scratching.
"STOP IT!!"A loud thunderous voice shouted stopping our fight.
It was our vice principal.
"Transform to your usual selves and come to my office, right now!!"
We obeyed and as we walked away I could hear murmurs like;
"Damn, what caused their fight?"
"It's probably Alexis"
"Wow, two hot guys fighting for one girl"
"That's low of Kenny though, he's a beta. Doesn't he have any shame? Fighting with or for those lowlifes is so embarrassing"
When Aiden and I got into the vice principal's office, he slammed his hand on his desk angrily.
"Don't you know it's against the school rules to transform in the school premises?!"
"We are sor-"
"Enough! I don't want to hear it. You both are suspended for two weeks. Get out!"
When we left the vice principal's office,we headed out of the school ground.
"I don't know what you are planning but it's not going to work"Aiden said.
"I'm not planning anything"
He scoffed"Really?Then should I go tell Alexa how I really got that necklace?"Aiden grabbed me by the collar of my shirt"Next time if you want to tell a story, don't leave out any part. I could easily go tell her what really happened and she's going to hate your guts so bad but I'm not going to stoop that low"Aiden let go off my shirt as we heard someone call his name.
It was Alexis. She was running to him .
"You see"Aiden said smirking at me "So what if you were her first love? I'm still the one she's worried about right now not you"
I clenched my fist as I watch Aiden walk away from me and run towards Alexis.
I clenched my fist as I saw Alexis worried as she scanned Aiden.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?"
I turned around and walked away as I left and headed to Alchiemer's academy.
Alchiemer's academy was strictly a school for alpha's. You are only allowed to enter once you had connection and if you are the son of an alpha.
Apart from there, one step in and you are dead.
Mark Sartre was bored out of his mind.
He was the most feared and powerful alpha in this school.
He was also Kenny's closest friend .
"This school is no fun. I need someone to mess with"Mark whined to his pals Jeffrey and Scott as he played with a paper plane.
Kenny walked into Mark's class and knelt down before him with his fist all balled up.
"Please, help me"
Mark smiled gleefully. It was time to have some fun.

AIDEN.
"Hey, are you okay? Huh?"Alexis asked me In a worried tone as she inspected me .
I held her hand"I'm okay"
"Aren't you going to explain yourself to me though?"
The truth was that I so badly wanted to clear the misunderstanding between us concerning the necklace but I couldn't.
If I did, she was going to hate Kenny and she was also going to get hurt and I didn't want to hurt her.
The truth about how I got the necklace? You could have guessed it right. Kenny had sold it to me.
I was just 6 years old then and had lost my father.
I'd gone into the woods to cry when I saw a little bit around my age standing there as he looked intently at a necklace in his hand.
As our eyes met, I quickly looked away but the he'd started approaching me.
"Hey" he'd said.
"What?"
He handed me the necklace"Do you want it?"
"Why?Isn't it something important?"
"Not really. A random girl just gave it to me. So, do you want it?"
"Just like that?"
The hid had chuckled"No, it's going to cost you"
I'd dipped my hand in my pocket and brought out four coins"This is all I had"
The kid had taken the money from my hand and handed me the necklace"Thank you" he beamed before walking away.
As I stared after his retreating back, a small voice shouted behind me.
"Hey!"I'd turned around to see the most prettiest girl I'd ever seen.
She took the necklace from my hand and wore it on my neck"Always put this on so that we can find eachother when we are already older, alright?"
I couldn't speak. She was mistaking me for someone else but I didn't want to correct her either.
"What's your name?"she asked smiling brightly.
"It's Aiden"
"I'm Alexis" she moved closer to me"You know, now that I've put on my 'esight3', you look different from earlier"
"I-I do?"
"But it doesn't matter. Anyways, it's getting late now so I best be off. See you later?"
"Yes, later"
Back then, I never thought the little kid would show you again.
Kenny had always made me feel nervous. He must have had a plan In revealing to Alexis that he was the one she'd first met.
I held Alexis's hand"I'm sorry. I never meant to deceive you. Can you give me some time before I tell you everything?"
Alexis nodded her head"Sure. Besides, nothing's changed between us."
I smiled softly"Thank you"
Meanwhile inside classroom B2, the students murmured amongst themselves.
"Do you really think they were fighting over Alexis?"
"They just had too"
"A love triangle between two mates and a beta? Eww"
"But aside from that, Aiden looked completely different"
"I know right?So hottt"
Grey slammed his hand on the table. He couldn't stand people talking about Aiden .
"He's not worth talking about? Why is everyone going crazy about him?"
"Oh, everyone"Melinda, the class nerd shouted as she neared the window"Another fight"
"Really?"
"Awesome. No way"
As the students ran to the window still to watch, Grey balled his fist as he taped Liam.
"Let's go"
"Where?"
"To put that sleazy omega in his place, that's where."
As I heard approaching footsteps towards us I covered Alexis as I saw Kenny reapproach with some weird set of people.
People I'd never seen before and they had a strong aura around them.
"Who are you?" I asked the guy Infront leading the troop.
"I am"Mark cracked his neck.as he smiled"just a really bored guy"
