5: Who Is The Father?

"Pfft, more like the 'Virgin Pregnant Son", this comment made the two reunited son and mother to look at the person who said it.

A person wearing a grey suit came in their view. Unlike Kallen's black hair, this person's hair is of blond color.

One could say that both of them if one did not know that they are brothers, one could say that they are strangers.

They both don't look very much alike. Their eyes, facial features, body built, and the way they dress are very different from each other.

One would say that they are either cousins or complete opposite strangers.

Kallen immediately frown upon seeing his elder brother Johann Emil Calfogal. The First Prince and Emperor of the West. The God of Light and Life. A complete opposite of Kallen who is the God of Death.

They are both tall and handsome. Who wouldn't be? Basing on their mother's features and being the Goddess of Creation where everything begins in her hands, definitely have a perfect genes.

Originally every children that the Empress gave birth to will inherit their father's features. But because she is a Goddess, her genes will automatically delete the imperfect ones, further enhancing the produced children in her womb before giving birth to them.

So all of her children does not inherit any features from her but her genes. That is the law that she created for herself.

It is to remember the faces of the persons that she once loved. That the person existed before passing leaving behind a living memory that proves that they loved each other.

But before Kallen rebut his brother's insult, a lady with with long hair in her jeans and a cropped top with prints 'I AM YOUNG!' stood beside his brother and smack his head.

"Ouch! What was that for?", Johann looked at his younger sister before rubbing his head.

"The moment every time you two meet bickers every moment you have. Aren't you tired?", said the breath-taking lady in disappointment.

"Well that's what are siblings for", Johann smirked and distance himself from his sister.

He doesn't want to get another head-banging earth-shaking smack from her.

The lady with a modern clothing is the second among the siblings and is the First Princess of Calfogal Empire. Crown Princess Achlea Bourbon Calfogal, the next in line for the throne of Calfogal Empire. The Goddess of Equilibrium and Unity.

The common rule for every kingdoms and empires would be the First born child will inherit the throne. But exceptions can be made such as: if the person backs out of candidacy, is proven to be incompetent, died, and many more.

This is the most used rule that every royal family follows.

But Calfogal Empire is different. The person who is the most suited for being the ruler will seat on the throne or will be assigned as either the "Crown Prince" or "Crown Princess". It is regardless of whether being part of the Royal Family or not.

As long as you prove you're worth, talents and capabilities. Only then the royal family will gladly handle the throne to an outsider and be part of the family, carrying Calfogal surname.

Such a fair rule let the empire prosperous because of being non-discriminator towards its rulers.

But of course there is a catch, the ruler's seat and crown are cursed but eternity. No one knows what kind of curse it is unless you put the crown yourself on your left arm.

Only the current Empress knows the curse and will not disclose the information even to her children.

Anyways, the First Prince is also a very capable leader for the Empire. It is just that her sister is more talented and more capable than him than Achlea is crowned as the Crown Princess.

The other two princes have no complain.

After all, managing an empire that expands to almost limitless territories will bring an unimaginable headache to the ruler.

They don't want those tons of tons of stress in their lives.

Just like what Daliso Chaponda from Earth once said;

"I'm not going through that depressing barbecue,

I'm gonna hang out with Cartoon Network"

So they both gladly gave the position to their sister who is now stressed with the empire's conflicts every second of her life.

Yeah, talked about escaping and throwing the cursed job to someone else.

In return, their sister gave them the positions of Emperors of the East and West. Both territories were completely small to the Empire but boy it still consists of hundreds of systems.

The thought that they have escaped from the most troublesome job led them to "Helping Their Sister to Manage the Empire" so to speak.

The little devil got through! And boy, they will never forget her evil laugh that day.

The schemer got the final say!

"Glad to see you our youngest", greeted Achlea.

"Glad to see you to sis", and they hugged.

"Let's go to my personal lounge and talk about your condition Kallen", smiled the Empress.

This time her smile did not reach her eyes. It is a smile they are all familiar with. The Wrath Smile of the Empress.

Both Achlea and Johann patted Kallen's back.

'Bastards enjoying my misery!'

In the Empress's personal lounge everyone is quiet. Not a single noise could be heard except for the faint heartbeat in Kallen's belly.

They are all above the ordinary creatures, naturally even their hearing is in another level.

All of them could hear the heartbeat of the soon-to-be child of Kallen and the first grandchild of the Empress.

This sound brought happiness towards the Empress heart. Who wouldn't be?

It is her very first grandchild from her youngest child!

Of course she will be exited to see the baby's face and shower it will love and gifts. It is a delicate existence and worth the celebration for the Empire.

But the thought of someone impregnating her youngest son, boiled her blood.

'Who dares to defiled my son's innocence. My youngest child who did not know anything about love and flirting, much less sex became pregnant all of a sudden? I swear I will kill that bastard! I don't want a painless death, I want a slow and excruciating pain!'

The thoughts of how to kill that father of her grandchild came into her brain.

The three siblings just quietly drink their teas.

The seeping killing intent from their mother is scary!

Whoever that man is, I will pray that you did not meet the Empress.

Finally the Empress broke the ensuing silence in the lounge.

"So, who is the father of my grandchild?", this made Kallen's body stiffened.

The way his mother asked this question is like interrogating a spy and is about to torture it if the answer is not to her satisfaction.

"I don't know your majesty", truthfully replied by Kallen.

This made his siblings and her mother to look at him doubtingly.

'You serious?!', is what in everyone's head.

"No need to be afraid my child. Just tell who it is. I will just meet and talk to him. I'm not going to do anything to him", calmly said by the Empress while drinking her teas.

'Lies!', the siblings shouted in their head.

"I really don't know mother. I just woke up that I am already pregnant"

"So sleeping can get you pregnant huh? It doesn't makes sense!", shouted the Empress.

"It's really true! I had the surveillance and track record of the people who went in and out of my room checked! Even the people who passed by the hallways where my room is", Kallen defended.

This made every person in the room feel into silence.

How can Kallen get pregnant while sleeping?

He already said that he did not saw anybody who entered his room for the past years while he's in his bed cube.

No one touched him nor violated him. But how?

Fell into this dilemma, Johann raised his hand to get the attention of the three. They looked at him to speak.

"Why don't we let Uncle Simon help us? He is the God of Time and Space. Maybe he could see who is the man and the process of how Kallen got pregnant", Johann suggested.

"Very well said. Achlea my dear please call your Uncle. Tell him we needed his helped immediately", the Empress ordered.

The Crown Princess obediently obeyed her mothers order and went ahead to call his uncle.

By seeing the time of when and how did Kallen got pregnant will surely help them to solve the case. And with Space they will know where is the father of the child is living.

It didn't take long before Simon appeared in front of them. As a God of Time and Space, he could go wherever he want.

They greeted their uncle and explained the situation to him.

Simon agreed to help them and began to work immediately.

A green smoke rose from Kallen's head and a square flat white screen appeared in the center.

Then it began to play everything.

Everything went smoothly. The screen plays backward as if to see his previous memories.

Many things appeared like his every day routine up to his works. Everything is being exposed.

Until they saw a child that look like Kallen in his childhood. They were all shocked!

The man lived in a planet the same as Planet 2466019 with the same race as the humans on that planet.

But the difference is, it is more advance than the planet Earth. Whether in terms of technology, knowledge, medicine, architecture, everything is way more advance in that planet.

The video shows that the clone of Kallen was left in that planet. The video stopped there. They all went into silence.

After watching his previous memories, Kallen seemed to remember the child clone he accidentally left in that planet.

He thought that the child will vanish in time but it did not. Somehow a miracle happened and the clone lived on his own.

"You left you clone? That makes sense"

"What makes sense brother?", Kallen asked.

"Well, I've red from some old books that we had in our library that some clones that were made by the original's with magic will usually disappear after time passes by",replied Johann.

"And?", Achlea impatiently asked.

"It is possible for them to be a real person if the original gave them a core of something to be their hearts base. It will eventually transform them into a real being without fading away. And the bond that form between the original and the clone will get stronger", Johann explained.

"But it doesn't explain how he got pregnant", the Empress stated.

"May I?", asked Simon.

"Go ahead", Empress said.

"It is possible to transfer a thing or two from clone to the original. Be it a skill, talent or money. In a condition of the bond must be strong enough to transfer such things", Simon explained.

"So that's how you got pregnant all of a sudden", said Achlea with realization in her eyes.

"All of you, can you all come out for a minute? Except for Kallen"

"Yes her majesty, the Empress", said by the three before leaving the room.
