"As much as I would have loved to see you getting together, I'm afraid I have to break you up." Brit gently removed BJ's hand from mine, "he has a husband who is supper possessive about him."

"He's married?" BJ looked shocked.

"Yes, I am."

Since Brit has already said the words I was supposed to, when she started getting too close, it was time to step up.

"I'm sorry!" She created a distance between us, "I never knew you were married!"

Her friends ran to her sides, and each placed a hand on her shoulders as if they were consoling her.

Their actions and the glares they sent towards me, confused me.

"It was supposed to be perfect. I thought I'd found—" She didn't get to complete her words before she made a mad dash towards the bathroom.

"BJ!" Her girlfriends ran after her, leaving a dumbfounded, poor me, behind.

"What just happened? Why was she acting that way?"
