"Umm… well, no… I…"

Lin Qianyi tried to think of another way to escape. But then, the lift door opened with a ding.

Amidst her weak objections, she was led into a large office.

Lin Qianyi felt rueful as she surveyed the black-and-white decor. This office was even bigger than her own house!

Wow! Wow! Wow! What kind of position did her husband hold?! How did he get such a magnificent office?

"Yanmo, what position do you hold in the company? How come you have such a grand office?"

Lin Qianyi leaned over Di Yanmo's expansive office table and gazed into the face of her cold, elite husband.

As he looked at his little wife gazing at him like an obedient little kitten, Di Yanmo felt like something was tickling his usually-calm heart.

"Do you wish to know?"

"Mmm, mmm, yes." Lin Qianyi nodded with bright eyes.

"To know someone, you must do it personally in order to show sincerity," Di Yanmo replied before looking down at the documents in his hand. Lin Qianyi was left staring blankly at him.

She recomposed herself after a split second. Was her husband asking her to personally get to know him?!! Didn't he say he would tell her about himself today? Liar!!!

Lin Qianyi glared at Di Yanmo before strolling around the large office, purposely making a lot of noise in a childish tantrum.

Meanwhile, a slight curl appeared on Di Yanmo's sexy lips. He looked like he was seriously reading his document, but a tinge of warmth flashed by his eyes.

Observing the mess purposely created by her, he didn't feel angry, but he felt somewhat exasperated. It seemed like his little wife was just as energetic as before.

After messing up nearly half the office, Lin Qianyi finally glanced sheepishly at her imperious husband. After confirming that he hadn't noticed, she immediately scurried over to a sofa on the side, pretending that nothing had happened.

Noticing a tablet below a side table, Lin Qianyi retrieved it and looked at him. "Yanmo, can I play with this?"

"Mmm." Di Yanmo lifted his head to glance at her.

The usually-cold office now felt somewhat warm because of her.

Engrossed in watching the series "Detective Conan," Lin Qianyi didn't realize that Di Yanmo would lift his eyes now and then to gaze warmly at her.

After seeing her nestled contentedly on the sofa, Di Yanmo once again looked at his computer screen. His long fingers flew over the keyboard.

The warm, cozy atmosphere was soon disrupted by a loud voice.

"Hey, hey, hey! Big brother, my dear big brother! I'm finally back!! Did you miss me?"

With that, a man dressed in a flashy red outfit barged into the room and scurried over to Di Yanmo's office table.

Startled by the sudden noise, Lin Qianyi nearly dropped the tablet on the floor.

Di Yanmo caught her reaction and frowned slightly, before shooting the jaunty man an unhappy look.

The originally-exuberant Di Yanfeng was stunned by his elder brother's cold stare. He followed the direction of his brother's gaze.

"Woah! Big brother! You actually have a female creature in your office?! And she's using my beloved tablet?!!"

Di Yanfeng widened his eyes in astonishment at Lin Qianyi. It was like he was looking at an alien from outer space.
