"Lucky. I hope you understand why I did this. I did this for the both of us". Plutonic started to say but Lucky had started to walk, aiming to walk right past his Father who was standing on the third last stair case. 

It hurt like hell the way his father had suddenly changed. It suddenly felt colder and he felt as if a hollow was being formed in his heart by the way it hurt. 

Lucky hadn't known that he would get this attached to his mother even though he had tried to push her away when she had come. He had thought that she had come to change things but that was far from being the truth. She had come back especially for his sake. 

He regretted ever pushing her away and showing her the cold shoulder. He needed her closer than ever. He wished that he had held her closer instead but it wasn't too late for that. He'd go after her after he was done with the Ambrose thing.
