SCENE THREE

BRYAN TRIES TO SEDUCE HIS CRUSH.

Fortunately,they all resumed back to work the following day.Steve comes back with a feedback from the meeting he attended yesterday. He then announces to his managerial staff that he will be travelling to Broston city for some business update.To the surprise of everyone,he said he would be going with Linda.Now the question comes up between other that why would their boss go with Linda and not Bryan.

Meanwhile, Bryan was not bothered about why he wouldn't go with his boss,but he was so bittered that he would not have a chance to seduce Linda.

Early that day...

LINDA:(comes into her boss office)Good morning sir,how are you doing? I came to summit the file I just finished updating to you for crosschecking.

STEVE:I am good, thanks alot.Let me have the file.

LINDA:Here it is sir(she gives it to Steve).

Surprisingly, Linda's boss held her hand and looked into her eyes and then tells her "You are such a beautiful,calm and a hardworking lady,I promise to make you happy".Linda was amazed,she couldn't believe her ears.After she got to her office she said to herself. "Could my boss be crushing on me,I can't believe this.Well I also love him ever since the day I set my eyes on him now I have a chance".She continues with her work as she talks slightly to herself.

JADE:(comes into Linda's office)Linda I saw you smiling when you came out of Boss office.I thought you went to drop a file,so what brought up laughter.Hope things are fine uh?

LINDA:(continues smiling and laughing)Well it's nothing,it was just that...(still laughs).. something funny happen.

JADE:(moves her head so close to Linda) Please gist me about it(she says calmly).Is it about the boss?Was it what you summited hun?

LINDA:Okay! I will gist you about it,that will be later because I am so busy right now.It was just I and the boss.

JADE:Okay,I would like to hear in detail when you are done with your work(she then walks out of Linda's office).

Later that day,Steve called for an impromptu meeting.

STEVE:Good day everyone.

OTHERS:Good day sir.

STEVE:By tommorow morning,I will be travelling to Broston city,I got some business to deal with.In addition I will be going with Linda.

Lenny and Desmond looked a each other.

LENNY:Sir,you mean Linda your accountant.

STEVE: Yeah,any problem with that?

DESMOND:Sir, when will you be back?And why isn't Bryan going with you?

JADE:(tries to make fun out of Desmond)How would you ask boss such a nasty question.Can Bryan take care of boss more effectively like Linda?

They all laughed out sparklingly.

BRYAN:Yeah! that's true (he says bitterly).

LINDA:Oh really,I would try my best to take good care of him.

STEVE:Well it's none of your business why I don't want to take Bryan.And also I will be coming back in two days time okay!

Bryan was unhappy,he couldn't talk much but he kept staring at Linda.

LINDA:Hey,Bryan why are you staring at me? Am I the boss?

BRYAN: No,I was only thinking how you could take good care of boss.

STEVE:Bryan! what are you insinuating?

BRYAN: Nothing bad sir.

LINDA: Maybe he thinks I won't take care of you.Bryan! I promise to take good care of him as much as you expected.

BRYAN:(talks forcefully)Yeah! that's it Linda,take good care of Mr Steve.

What Linda said made Bryan uncomfortable throughout the day,I was imagining if something flirty comes up between Linda and Steve.

Bryan remembered his boss talks about Linda like he go interest in her sometimes back.So Bryan decided to play smart by going to Linda's house after he left work.

Before going,the branched the bar to take some alcohol so as to moltivate him to pour out his mind to Linda, unfortunately this idea turned him down at last, because Linda dislike alcohol.

BRYAN:(he knocks Linda door)Hello! are you home? it me Bryan

LINDA:(comes to the door as she looks at her wristwatch)Bryan! What are you doing out here at this odd time?And why are you looking so unkept? hope nothing is wrong somewhere?

BRYAN:(dresses up properly)Yeah! I know it's night already,I only want you to do me a favour.

LINDA:(still stands at the door) Okay what's that?

BRYAN:Okay,just let me in,I won't take much of your time,I only came to tell you how I feel.

LINDA:(she let's him in,and she exclaims)How do you feel! I don't get what you meant by that.

BRYAN:I know you would be travelling tommorow,so I came to express my feelings.

Unfortunately for Bryan, Linda smelt alcohol from him.So she decided to stand as she listen to her drunk colleague.

LINDA:(frowns her face and folds her arms)So Bryan! what do you have to say?.You have to be fast,I got no time for shits like this.

BRYAN:Linda,ever since I met you,I was always aspiring to be your man.Also my feeling for you had increased since the day we danced together. Linda I love you.

LINDA:(says with a slight smile and a loud clap)Umm,I like that,Bryan you are such an actor.Well I appreciate you for admiring me but I don't like you uh.So what do you want me to do for you?

BRYAN:(he kneels down holding Linda's leg)I want you to accept me as your soulmate.As you know I ought to have married,but I decided that I would get married to a beautiful lady like you.

LINDA:(Linda jerks her leg away from Bryan,then she opened the door)Bryan it's high time for you to leave me house,I can see you are drunk and perhaps I got no little feeling for you.So I want you to take your mind out of this because "I can't date you".

BRYAN:(stands up) Please Linda just give me a chance.

LINDA:You are not whom I choose to be with I love another person.And also I dislike drunkards like you.If you try to disturb be about this matter,I will surely report you to the Boss.Now you can leave, sleep well hun.

BRYAN:(he remembered he took alcohol) Alright I will take my leave.

Bryan left Linda house shamefully....
