Daily routine 1

Barun looked at him and nodded. Kunal said with a light chuckle patting his yiunger brother's shoulder gently "Okay. All those words are not meant for you. I am talking to myself, but it's my heart felt advise for you as an elder brother."

He then stood up and said "I need to go." With that he walked away and left leaving behind a confused Barun.

That evening Kunal went to the Hotel Palace at 7 PM and all the staff greeted him. The manager personally escorted him to the restaurant on the top floor and led him into a private room which has glass wall revealing the beauty of night view of the Mumbai beach.

When he entered the room he saw a woman who is busy admiring the beauty of the night sky and the beach. She looked all elegant in her pastel long evening gown, diamond earrings and minimum make up.

Her hair left loose and her smile mesmerizing. He sat before her and it was then she came out of her world.

Kunal said "I am sorry for keeping you waiting. Busy at work" and she shook her head with a smile "It's fine. I just arrived too."

He nodded and took the menu card and passed it to her "please". She took it elegantly and ordered some fresh fruit jiuce.

Kunal asked for a coffee and they sat silent and the atmosphere was all awkward between them.

Trying to break that silence Kunal asked "What's your name ?" and she looked at him with a weird expression and her face changed in the next moment but it didn't escape from his eyes.

Kunal explained "Well grandpa gave me your details earlier but I didn't get to see them because of the hectic schedule".

She said "No problem. Myself Varshini Rathode" and he nodded in acknowledgment. He introduced himself formally "I am Kunal Rajput" and she gave a smile "I know".

Their order was brought in by the hotel staff and they left. She said out of the blue while sipping on her juice "You look different from what I heard about you".

He looked at her and asked "What did you hear about me ?" She held her head down and said with nervousness "I heard you hate women and treats them indifferently."

She peeked at him from below her eyelashes and said trying not to offend him "Well, I didn't mean it. My friend told me that and I was nervous to meet you, a bit."

A amused smile appeared on his face and asked "Am I scaring you ?" and she shook her head amost instantly. He said and asked "Are you disappointed that I am not like what you heard about me ?"

She looked at him and shook her hands "No, I am just a bit surprised." and Kunal said with a nod "Well, I used tobe like that before. But my girlfriend changed me".

She looked at him with shock and he said "I have a girlfriend and I love her very much and plan to marry her only. I am sorry for causing this misunderstanding for you."

Kunal said to bring her back from her own train of thoughts "Tell me something about you ?" She felt humiliated but asked with a usual calm face "You already have a girlfriend but want to know about me ?"

Kunal said "It's because I am curious about something." She looked at him and he said with a friendly smile "Let's just be friends first. If not for couple we might become good friends in future."

She didn't looked convinced so he said "Fine I will tell you about myself first and then you can tell about yourself. Deal ?"

She looked at him with doubt there was nothing strange about him. She nodded and he said "As I already told you I am Kunal Rajput. I am an actor by profession. I have a sister, brother and a girlfriend. Native place Rajastan."

She relaxed seeing his friendly nature and straight forwardnesss and said "I am Varshini Rathode. Studying MBA in a Business school in Bandra. I had an elder brother and have a younger brother and I am also from Rajastan".

Kunal asked her "Elder brother ?" and she nodded "Vikramaditya Rathode".

He nodded and asked "You are also from Rajastan. Wow" and she said "It seems like you don't remember. We used tobe neighbors but you moved to Mumbai and my family moved to Karnataka after my brother's death."

She was sad while talking about her brother. She said "He died because of some hereditary disease." and Kunal said "I know".

She was surprised but asked after a moment of thought "Do you remember him ? I heard you guys used tobe childhood friends."

Kunal nodded and said "Well, I kind of recognized you in the first instance." and she asked with surprise "You do ?"

He nodded "You looked almost the same except that you don't have that running nose and baby fat now".

She pouted and he asked "How could I have imagined that the little girl who always followed her brother around with her tiny feet would become such a young and elgant lady."
