"You're acting weird today Gao Chen."

Fua Lin finds it odd as to why Gao Chen would keep explaining everything that he did, does he not want me to misunderstand something? He was really acting weird today, not only today, he was avoiding her for the last few weeks, but why was he suddenly showing concern for her now, this made her utterly confused but she also felt warm inside.

Thud thud thud, her heart was beating loudly, it would be so embarrassing if Gao Chen will actually hear the loud thumping of her heart so she held her chest tightly and her breathing became uneven. "What's wrong?" Gao Chen immediately noticed the change in the girls breathing, he knew that Fua Lin has asthma and he was concerned that she was having an attack at this instant. Fua Lin just stared at him, she was dumbfounded by how close his face was and the concern was written all over it, her heart went wild again, what is this feeling, wooaah, she shook her head as to clear her mind and immediately tried to calm herself down "I'm...okay" but her voice broke, and her teeth chattered as she spoke.

Seeing the girl was shivering again, he passed the umbrella to her and immediately rubbed both his hands together to create heat and placed it on the girls' ears and alternately on her face to warm her up. He did this process a few times until he saw the girls' face was no longer pale but showing a faint blush, the truth is, the girls' blush was the result of his intimate action and not the heat from his hands. "Let's hurry home, I think you already caught a cold Fua Lin." he held her tighter until they were seated on the bus.

Since they waited for more than an hour for Gao Quin, they are now trapped in the rush hour, so the supposedly twenty-minute bus ride home has turned into an hour or so. While inside the bus, Fua Lin was getting a headache, so she closed her eyes for she wanted to get some sleep first, who knows how long they had to wait before they reach home, traffic at this hour was really bad. "If you want to sleep, lean on me, not on the window." Gao Chen said as he was guiding Fua Lins' head to his shoulders while his arm was securely wrapped around her.

"You're acting weird today Gao Chen." finally she whispered quietly, although she was calm now, she can't help feel that Gao Chen was especially treating her well today.

"What's weird?" Gao Chen asked while looking down at the blushing girl in his arms.

"I never thought that you are a caring person, I never saw this side of you ever since Gao Quin and I became friends." she did not know where she found the courage to say all this, but she just blurted out whatever she was thinking.

"Well, you should get used to it from now on." Gao Chen said seriously but his tone was soft, and Fua Lin can't help but look up and saw that Gao Chen was also looking at her, they made eye contact and Fua Lin immediately straightens up in her seat and looked outside the window.

Gao Chen wanted to confess how he feels for her right this instant, but seeing how uncomfortable the girl was, he decided to take it slowly, he doesn't have any experience pursuing a girl, so he doesn't want to scare Fua Lin by being impatient. But he will make sure that Fua Lin will see that she was special to him.

"Drink some ginger soup after you take a hot shower, then rest early, okay?" Gao Chen reminded after they reached Fua Lins' home.

"Yes. Thank you for today, Gao Chen. Let me wash your coat first before I return it." Fua Lin said while looking down at the coat that she was wearing.

"It's alright, you can keep it and bring it with you so you will not be cold every time!" then she patted the girls' head and nudged her to go inside, and made sure she closed the door before he left for home too.

Fua Lin stumbled inside, she was was still in a daze after a lot has happened today, she can't help thinking to herself, was she having a crush with Gao Chen over a coat and a rainy day? she then smiled sweetly then and decided to go with the flow.
