Running short on time, they quickly headed towards the year one block. As fate would have it, they approached Mu Jiaying's class first.

She reluctantly let go off Liang's arm, which he time and again tried to free from her grip, but failed.

Not getting any time alone with Liang made her upset. She stomped her feet and entered her class promising to meet for lunch.

The rest headed to the next class.

Being the closest person to her brother, Meili could see through Liang clearly. She was aware for a very long time now that Jinjing held a special place in her brother's heart.

At the entrance of the class, Meili sensed the awkward silence, breaking it she said " ok… goodbye. Now you can go" and started to enter the class.

She briefly paused when she heard Liang say "I will see you for lunch"

When she looked at her brother she was not surprised to see him looking at Jinjing with his soul piercing gaze.

In reply she could only give a mocking laugh, while the oblivious Jinjing simply nodded.

Seeing them reach their desk, Liang headed to his class and could not wait for lunch time.

Despite being from the same senior middle school, since Liang was 2 years older than Jinjing, he got only one year together with her before joining college.

Since it was the beginning of Meili and Jinijing's friendship, they would meet up less often. It was only when Liang started college that his sister and Jinjing became closer.

The girls would usually meet at Meili's for studies and projects, this was the only time when Liang could see Jinjing. He would make up countless excuses to enter Meili's room just to look at Jinjing.

His impatience and attention seeking attitude towards Jinjing never failed to surprise Meili.

It was no rocket science that she completely supported this. How wonderful it would be if her brother could win over Jinjing. Then her bestie would become her sister-in-law and would always be with her.

Oh her wishful thinking. She was unaware that once her wish would be granted her bestie would be snatched away from her by her very own brother.
