16. Photo album
Aera is busy looking at Hyungtae's collection of movies. Look like Hyungtae is a movie lover. Just watch! These two rows of large cabinets are fill with his line of tapes.
Fifteen minutes passed, and Aera still had not decided which film she should choose to watch. It turned out that it was still as difficult to choose a movie as when she was going to watch it with Hyungtae.
Even though she is very excited when she sees Hyungtae's lineup of cassette collections, it turns out that she has a dilemma to choose the right or left side. "Which one is Good? That one or this one?". Such questions keep hanging in Aera's mind until she finally finds a thick book in the middle of Hyungtae's film line.
"Kim, what is this?" asked Aera spontaneously when she see an object that look different from the others. Her hand takes the book first before hearing Hyungtae's answer. "What? Let me take a look! You covered it with your body." Hyungtae is curious about what Aera finds. His head looked up to the right and left to see what does now in Aera's hands.
Aera turned around and brought it closer to Hyungtae. "Ah... it's a photo album." Hyungtae said. He thinks Aera is finding something that scary or endangered the girl.
"Really? Then let me borrow it." Aera looked happy after hearing Hyungtae's answer. Her sluggish face suddenly faded and replaced with happiness. Because she always likes things such as childhood photos and the history of things.
Hyungtae is surprised by the change in Aera's expression. He knew that Aera's face looked wrinkled and bent all day. He doesn't have time to entertain and even asks if there is a problem that Aera is thinking about because he is too busy with work. However, thankfully after Aera found his photo album, her face looked fresh again. It makes Hyungtae more relieved. Even though he doesn't interact much or even pay attention to Aera, Hyungtae knows his pretty girl isn't in a good mood.
Aera's beautiful hands slowly opened the photo album cover and excitedly brought it to her desk. Hyungtae watched Aera jog with a little happy jump along with both hands hugging his photo album. 'Oh my gosh, that's cute' Hyungtae mumbled. The man doesn't have much time to just pay attention to Aera. He only watched the girl occasionally and then focused again on the computer in front of him.
Hyungtae really regrets it, even though he knows Aera doesn't expect any attention or anything from him. But still, he feels guilty for letting Aera in a bad mood today.
Basically, unbeknownst to Hyungtae, Aera also expects attention from him. Hyungtae has never been this indifferent to her. It's not that Aera missed the attention of the handsome man who is in the same room as her, but habits are hard to break.
Who told Hyungtae to always overdo her, as Aera had always been number one for him. Today Aera doesn't feel Hyungtae glancing at her, and it is so annoying that it feels like she wants to finish a big box of vanilla chocolate ice cream.
Aera opened two sheets of cover and some unimportant paper to open the album page. Finally, the first photo page appeared. Aera, see how cute the hairless baby and his chubby cheeks looked excitedly at the camera. Both hands are holding a cute little toy that is not very clear in shape, that's the first photo.
In the second photo, still, on the same page, an adorable baby is smiling sweetly and showing off a row of neat milk teeth. He looked like he had just finished taking a shower because his body is wrapped in a white towel. Also, his head neatly wrapped around his head which showed that he had also washed his hair. "So cute... I want to see the real version of this little boy." Aera said excitedly, her hands are clenched into fists, and her feet are kicking the air with excitement.
Of course, Hyungtae heard Aera's words. Who can ignore a beautiful girl being excited about something? She looks hysterical to the point that her legs look amused like that. "Here, the person is here. Why do you expect to meet someone who clearly in front of you?" Hyungtae said with excitement. He can't help but smile at Aera's behavior. Because, he knows what makes his girl excited because of the picture of him as a child.
"That's true, but you're not that cute anymore. I'd like to see the baby version." Aera replied, she forgets that she is looking through Hyungtae's photo album. "I can re-show the photo wearing a towel like that, but there's no way it can turn back as small as in the photo," Hyungtae replied casually. He realized he is talking naughty now. Predictably, Aera will smack him after this.
The fact that it doesn't happen. Aera just keeps quiet and continues admiring Hyungtae's photo as a child. "Geez, you're that impressed with me, huh," said Hyungtae. It turned out that he is wrong to focus too much on his work because it will only make him more stressed. He had forgotten his habit of teasing Aera. And now... unconsciously, he is practicing again what he has become a habit, and it actually makes his stress a little less.
It seems that no matter how hard Hyungtae's work is when accompanied by Aera, it won't be difficult for him anymore, now he realizes that fact. His decision to always take Aera wherever he goes is not wrong. Aera will be a cure for his tiredness from the complexity of the work. Like water that can always extinguish the fire, no matter how big the fire is, if it is faced with water of the same magnitude, won't water always win?
"So this is Kim Hyungtae, when he was in school, he looks really naughty," Aera said to herself. He doesn't expect an answer from Hyungtae, because he is still annoyed that he is left bored all day long. "I'm Not naughty, but I'm active," Hyungtae answered from a distance. He doesn't agree with Aera's words about him being labeled naughty. "Just shut up, just take care of your favorite job," replied Aera sensitively. Why now he often answers her words while since at noon he has been silent and continues to stare at the computer.
"Are you angry? Don't be like that. I'm completing a complicated task for the company," said Hyungtae trying to calm Aera. "I'm not angry. Do I look angry? I just told you to focus on completing your complicated task." Aera sarcastically. Without realizing it, Aera is angry with Hyungtae, just look at the top of her head there are two horns perched there.
