"Good evening sir" He greeted respectfully. There was an uncomfortable silence after he greeted and he wondered when his father would say something. "Arrangement have been made for you and the daughter of the moonrise pack, they will be arriving in a few weeks".his dad said with a deep voice.

"Uh...., wait, what the hell does that mean. I!, for one, am not getting mated with someone I don't know dad!," Scott retaliated in disagreement.

almost at the nick of time his mother came in. "honey?, Scott?, what's all the noise about". "oh good you're here, I was informing scott about the engagement", his father said.

"What!, you told him already, I thought we both agreed it would be next week, right before the months end, you promised me Elijah!". she said visibly unhappy. "So you're in on this too mom, wow!, I thought you had faith in me, I thought you believed in me, I thought you knew better than anyone; how hard this is on me. But you just had to dissappoint, just like every! one! else".

"S-Scott, honey it's not what you think. I know this isn't easy on you baby, it it's for us either. we're scared and worried about you, scared that you would lose yourself because you haven't found your mate and you could start thinking that the moon goddess doesn't love you, and you know just like everyone else what happens after that!".

"I, love you that's why I'm scared for you. please, Scott try to understand .

" that's enough lizzy he needs to understand the situation. without someone has his mate he could begin to lose himself, and I'm not having that, I will never allow anyone who isn't stable to lead the pack. that's final".

"This! decision of yours will never happen. you know why?, because I'm not someone you can just push around, order around like I'm some mindless doll, he said.

" GRAA!, mind your tone, OR I'll mind it for you. he said furiously .
