Part 5: Failure wasn't the option

Thursday | 5 am

Todoroki's POV

I was sleeping with Izuku in my arms when my phone rang, waking us both up. I groaned and grabbed the phone as I walked to the bathroom, expecting a mission.

"Shoto Todoroki here..."

"Good morning Shoto, we have a bit of a problem here with two pure blooded vampires, so if you could just wake up Katsuki and Kirishima for me and then head to Myb street, that would be fantastic." Aizawa says before hanging up.

I sigh and walk back in the bedroom, Izuku is desperately trying to stay awake. I smile and gently lean down to kiss him, he tries to pull me in the bed but I back away.

"Sorry Izu, I need to go help Aizawa again, he needs Katsuki and Kirishima too so well be gone for a while. Just sleep for me okay? You can stay." I say as he nods slowly and falls asleep again.

I quickly grab my stuff and run out of my room, I enter Katsuki's room to see Kirishima asleep on the couch, I giggle and wake them both up.

"Oh for fuck sake what now... It's 5 in the fucking morning!" Katsuki yells angrily.

"Mission I supose." Kirishima says sleepily.

"Yeah.... 2 pureblooded." I say as they both sprung up.

"Shit lets go then!" Katsuki says as we all dress up.

We run out the window and make it to Myb street, the alley was blocked for a long way by Kamui, but we easily got around it. I hid in a building once I spotted them, Katsuki and Kirishima ran ahead as I pulled out my sniper. The two pureblooded looked familiar... I looked in my scope and recognized the two villains... THEY'RE VAMPIRES!? I mean pureblooded can hide their vampire traits for limited amounts of times... But I never thought Shigaraki and Kurogiri we're pure blooded... Wait, there's also Dabi, are they all pureblooded? No, Dabi is Touya, our parents we're definetly not vampires,  I snipe into Shigaraki's shoulder, he becomes erratic as he orders something to Dabi, I feel a presence in the room as Kurogiri's portal apear behind me. I turn around too slow and get slammed against the wall.

"You never learn do you Shoto." He says as I sigh.

"Touya... You said you quitted being a villain what happened." I say as he looked at me with his red eyes.

"Got turned that's what... But I don't feel anything anymore so I just obey my master, and I know that I have orders to kill you." He says charging at me.

So that's why he wasn't using his flames, a human who gets turned lose their quirk.

"Shit!" I yell as he grabs my wrist and sent me flying out the window.

This is it huh... I can't make ice anywhere that could save me, I'm going to die by my own brother's hands. I'm sorry Izu... I really am... I never said it... But... I love y-

"GOT YA!" Katsuki yelled as he caught my hand and made us land.

"That was fucking too close Icyhot!" He screams at me as I nodded.

"My brother was turned... He's going to try and kill me because of Shigaraki." I say as I spot Dabi running this way.

I quickly build a wall of ice, I can hear him punching the ice and growling. I sigh, he's lost anyways... There's nothing I can do to save him, I feel tears climb up to my eyes as I sigh. Katsuki taps my shoulder to comfort me before I face the ice, it breaks apart showing my brother, he smiles and his eyes glow red as he opens his mouth ready to bite us. I pull my pistol out and crank it before I go to shoot, but... My finger freeze, I can't unsee my brother in him... I start to shake, suddenly a portal appears between us and he disapears. I look around ready for a sneak attack, but then I hear the pros cursing.

"Guys! Shigaraki escaped with Kurogiri!" Kirishima yells as he runs towards us.

"This is bad we can't let pureblooded vampires run loose like that, they are way too strong to keep around!" Present mic says as Aizawa agrees and hugs him.

"Someone is tired." Present mic says as Aizawa hugs him closer.

I sigh, I want to hug my love too, I look up and see my father grimace at his colleagues actions.

"We're in public you fagots! Get your shit together!" He yelled as I walked angrily towards him.

"Oh shut it old man, not everyone is as boring and stuck up like your needy ass!" Katsuki yells as I chuckle at the remark and stop.

"Your telling me this is fucking appropriate then!?" He angrily screams.

"Yeah. I don't see any problems." Katsuki says getting irritated.

"Whatever, we need to find these two fast, they're recruting for their army of vampires and we can't have that. Now the school better shut down and fix this shit with all the 'in the known' heroes." My father says before he looks at me.

"Got a problem?" I said with a monotone voice.

"Get rid of that fagot clinging to you... You need a wife that can give you strong children, not a useless child who doesn't even know what goes around himself." He says walking past me and purposely bump into my shoulder.

My left side flared up as I growled loudly, I wanted to beat the ever living crap out of him for saying thoses things about Izuku. He didn't deserve such insults, he's the kindest most precious person I have ever met! Katsuki throws a bucket of cold water at me, extinguishing my flames I look at him amused as I shake my hair dry.

"You we're being too hot for your own good little bro." He says smirking.

"Are you flirting with me?" I teased as he faked a gag.

"No  I don't want your canadian flag ass. But thanks for the offer. Did you get your vegetables yet hmm?" He says as I frown.

"I'm not sure I follow..." I say as Kirishima laughs.

"Hahahaha Midoriya is a broccoli right!?" He says as I realize what he meant.

"W-we aren't there y-yet! What the hell Katsuki!" I say as he laughs with Kirishima as I blushed madly.

We all join Aizawa and Present mic, it was pretty silent on our way back to the dorms. Aizawa heads to his room along with Present mic, I walk to my room and wave goodnight to Katsuki and Kirishima. I glance at my phone, it's 7 am... we took a long time... I walk in and sigh, I close the door and walk to my bed to see it empty, I notice a note and smile.

Out to train, probably going to grab you soba too!

I smiled and layed in bed, I was glad he left a note, otherwise I would have panicked my life out for him.
