5 Siblings' Bonding Time

Chapter 05: Siblings' Bonding Time

-----------------------------------

I feel… weird. There's a part of my human mind telling me that killing is wrong, but strangely, I don't feel anything about it. It's as if being a Devil now hasn't erased the human morals from my past life. That might explain why I had the sudden urge to throw up my breakfast in the toilet, even though I feel nothing about taking someone's life. Getting used to it is a possibility, but deep down, I don't want that. There's nothing good about getting used to killing.

I'm sorry, Nilar. I killed you. I cannot even remember your face, your figure, or how you attempted to kill me. But I won't forget your name. You're the first person I've killed, and I'll keep killing to protect my little sister. It won't get easier, but I'll try my best not to forget the first life I've taken.

Speaking of Nilar, she seemed weak. Was she also a Low-Rank, High-Class Devil like me? It was surprisingly easy to turn the blood in her body into water. As for that fire, it is a trick I picked up from Nee-sama while she was teaching me Ice Magic. And bursting her open from the inside, well, I got that idea from Naruto's Rasengan.

Recalling the scene, another urge to puke hits me, this time because of the gruesome image I created. I doubt I'll be able to eat lunch after this.

After freshening up, I leave the bathroom, triple-checking my breath. I'm about to meet Nee-sama's coworkers, and a weird-smelling breath wouldn't make a good first impression.

"Sa-chan," I hear Nee-sama's voice from the other side of the door.

"Yes, Nee-sama?" I open the door, letting her in.

Nee-sama seems off, lacking her usual energy. She hugs me, my head unintentionally nestled between her breasts. Okay, this is getting weird. Nee-sama is feeling down, and I don't know why.

"There, there, Nee-sama," I hug her back. "Don't be sad," I say, even though I don't know the reason behind her sadness.

"Sa-chan," she mutters.

"I am here," I reply.

"Sa-chan."

"I am here, Nee-sama," I say again.

"You won't leave me, right?" she asks, and I realize my earlier actions might have triggered something.

"I'll be with you until you no longer need me, Nee-sama," I assure her, rubbing her back.

"En, we will be together forever," she tightens her hug. Something happened, and I'm not sure what.

"There, there, Nee-sama," I gently console her.

"Sa-chan!" After hugging me for a while, she returns to her usual childish self. Much better. I prefer this version of Nee-sama.

"Give me a kiss!" She lowers her head and gives me a surprise kiss on the lips.

That catches me off guard. Kissing an older girl with my ten years old body is weird, but I reciprocate.

"Nee-sama, next time, please give me a warning before kissing me on my lips," I glare at her, trying to catch my breath.

"Sure do, Sa-chan!" she agrees without hesitation. "Wait… next time?" she whips her head toward my direction with full of exultant joy on her face.

"Don't make me repeat it," I ignore her and fix my clothes.

"Aw… Sa-chan loves her Nee-sama," she beams.

"You mistook something, Nee-sama," I glance at her. "I've always loved you. In the past, present, and will still love you in the future," I reply.

"Sa-chan…," stops working. She reboots a bit later and immediately lunges at me.

"Sa-chan, Sa-chan, Sa-chan, Sa-chan," she lifts me up and starts showering me with kisses. She's beginning to ruin my outfit!

"Nee-sama… stop. You are ruining my outfit!" I try to say something, but she shifts from kissing my neck to going straight for my mouth.

Crap… she's forcing her tongue inside. I can't escape; she's holding me too tight. My consciousness begins to fade. Finally, she separates her lips from mine, and I gasp for air. "Nee-sama," I try to tell her to stop, but she seems lost in the moment.

"Mine," Nee-sama growls. Ouch! Did she just bite my neck? A metallic smell wafts through my nose. Blood?! Is Nee-sama marking her territory?

"Nee-sama," I try to reason with her, but she's not listening.

"Mine. Mine. Mine. You are mine, Sa-chan. I won't hand you over to anyone," she hisses while kissing along my neck.

"Did something happen, Nee-sama?" I give up resisting and gently lay my hand on her head.

"They are trying to take you away from me," Nee-sama grumbles.

"There, there, Nee-sama. I will not go anywhere," I pat her head. Shivering as she licks the bite mark she gave me, I can sense there's more going on in her mind.

"I don't want to be away from you," she murmurs.

"That, I cannot agree with, Nee-sama. We have to leave the nest one day. You cannot baby us all the time," I stroke her head gently.

"I don't wanna!" She starts throwing a tantrum.

"There, there, Nee-sama. Your friends are waiting for us. We have to go now," I sigh at her childishness.

"I am sorry, Sa-chan. I lost myself there," she admits, looking pitiful. But there's something in her eyes, suggesting she's plotting something.

I raise my eyebrow. I'm not sure if I should be afraid for my life or my virginity.

But… I don't want to blame Nee-sama. Yes, she messed up my outfits and gave me bite marks, but even then, she's my sister. While I don't love her as much as Sona, she's right behind in second place.

"Then as an apology, fix my clothes, please," I respond.

"Gladly!" She beams, and a magic circle appears under my feet. It slowly lifts up, and my clothes change by the time the magic circle reaches over my head.

"Gray shirt and blue pants… I'm glad you know my taste, Nee-sama," I smile and praise her.

"Of course!" She lifts her head and pushes her chest forward.

"Now, let's get going, Nee-sama," I urge her, holding out my hand.

"Un," she nods and takes my hand.

-----------------------------------

We arrive outside the building, which is different from the one I read about in the novel. It looks like a church. Is it okay for devils to use church-like buildings?

In front of me are three of the four Great Satans—Sirzechs Lucifer, Ajuka Beelzebub, and Falbium Asmodeus. The final one is beside me, the subject of my admiration, Serafall Leviathan.

"You did a great job out there," the red-haired man, Sirzechs, praises me.

"The way you used your magic… It was fascinating," Ajuka Beelzebub adds. This is getting weird. I understand if it's Sirzechs praising me, but Lord Ajuka himself? Something strange is going on.

I'd riot if the Baldy beside them started praising me, but he's sleeping while standing up. Okay, no riots today.

"Without further ado, let us start the ceremony," Ajuka welcomes us to the altar. Both Nee-sama and I walk up to the place.

Serafall Leviathan is standing in front of me, the woman who treats me like a priceless treasure. I don't want to see her sad. Yes, I was afraid she'll snap like before.

"Savion Sitri, please be on your knee," she smiles at me, the first time she calls me by my full name instead of Sa-chan.

I get on my knee, and Nee-sama takes the crown from the maid beside her. Then she puts the crown on my head. Like Ise said in the novel, this crown has the rather heavy weight of a real crown.

There's a round of applause from the Satans and the maids. Hey, look, Baldy is wide awake. Oh, and there's Grayfia clapping her hands. With this, the crowning ritual is over.

I stand up and walk down the altar with Nee-sama. Ajuka Beelzebub walks up to the altar again and raises his hand. A stone monument shining in black appears above our heads.

This is it. By touching this monument, I will become a [King], the owner of my very own peerage, my family.

"New [King] Savion Sitri, please come and stand in front of the monument and touch it with your Demonic Power," Ajuka urges me.

I stand in front of the monument, flow my Demonic Power through my hand, and my hand glows blue. With that same hand, I touch the monument.

*Ba-Dumb*

My heart beats loudly. Just a single beat, but it resonates through the room.

The monument shines blue—not just any blue, but Azure Blue. Why? As a Sitri, my Demonic Power should be Ocean Blue.

On the monument, my handprint appears in azure blue for an instant. It immediately quiets down, and all returns to normal.

"Please take this," Ajuka hands me a small black box. Inside are the Evil Pieces… My Evil Pieces. These are the pieces to add new family members to my family.

I open the box, and inside are 15 Evil Pieces. "This is…," I mutter as I pick up two pieces from the box.

"A Bishop and a Knight Mutation Pieces, huh?" Ajuka bends down and looks at the Evil Pieces in my hand.

"Thank you, Lord Ajuka," I say, and walk down from the altar. Ajuka nods and walks down beside me.

"Congratulations, Savion," the red Satan congratulates me.

"My little sister is cuter than yours," is the first thing that comes out of my mouth before thanking him. The others look surprised, but I am more surprised by myself.

"Pardon?" Sirzechs' mouth twitches. And is that a vein on his forehead?

"My little sister is cuter than yours," the damage is done. I've declared war on THE Sirzechs Lucifer.

"Now listen here, little BOY," he stares down at me. "Nobody talks shit about Ria-tan in front of me," he walks in front of me and pulls out an album full of Rias' pictures. I guess he feels relaxed because everyone here knows him very well.

"Here! Look at the picture of Ria-tan with a flower on her head!" He shows me the picture. Okay, I must admit she is cute. But!

"Weak! Is this the best the strongest Satan can do?" I shout and pull out the photo album from my [Inventory]. "Here! Look at the picture of So-tan blushing," I show him the picture.

"Urgh… Yes, certainly she looks adorable, but! That wasn't even my true power!" He then pulls out another picture from the album. "Behold! The picture of Ria-tan in her horse riding outfit!"

"You taught her horse riding at 5 years old?! My parents forbid me from learning that!"

"Fu fu fu… give up. With current strength, you cannot beat me," the red-haired bastard mocks.

"Foolishness, Lord Sirzechs. Foolishness!" I pull out another picture. "Feast your eyes upon this! So-tan in her jumpsuit rabbit pajamas!"

The battle lasts for over 10 minutes. Each of us shows cute pictures of our little sisters.

"Kuk… not bad," I mutter.

"You are not too shabby yourself," Sirzechs replies with a smile.

"But I am not done yet!"

"What?!"

"Look at this picture! Behold! The picture of So-tan sleeping peacefully with me!" I slam my picture on the table.

Sirzechs falls to his knees. "How can this be?" he mutters. "Ria-tan forbade me to let me sleep with her," he continues.

"My little sister let me sleep with her because she is the cutest!" I reply with pride.

"I have lost," the strongest Satan admits.

"Now, bow before the superior siscon, Lord Lucifer!" I push my chest forward and lift my head.

"Is it possible to learn this power?" he asks me. Was that a Star Wars reference?

"Let me give you the words of wisdom, Lord Lucifer," I nod like a sage.

"Please do," he pulls out a notebook.

"Never fawn upon your sister. Give her space. If you do that, you can have your sister's love," I answer.

"I see. I just need to give her space," Sirzechs nods. "Five minutes, no… Four minutes of it will do," he nods again. This man does not understand personal space, does he?

I was so caught up in the battle with one of the most powerful Devils that I forgot about my surroundings. Grayfia is shaking her head in annoyance. Lord Ajuka looks amused, and the Baldy is still sleeping.

"Sa-chan, bad," Nee-sama chides me. You always did this, yet you scolded me when I did the same for Sona? Nee-sama, your hypocrisy is showing.

"Ha! Ha! Ha!" Sirzechs Lucifer laughs. "I see… if it were you, I can rest assured," he smiles at me. Dude… what are you talking about?

"Grrr…," Nee-sama bares her fangs at him.

"Well then, everyone. Please have a good day," not wanting to let this awkwardness stretch further, I bow elegantly and walk out of the building with Nee-sama.

I immediately fall asleep upon returning home. Tomorrow is my birthday party, and I can't wait to enjoy it.

-----------------------------------

"This birthday party sucks!" I screamed internally. Attending my 10-year-old birthday party feels like a chore, especially since I'm officially introducing myself to the Devil Society today.

Meeting other High-class Devils and their bratty children doesn't sound like a fun time. Why can't they behave more like my beloved Sona? To make matters worse, none of the main cast members are present. Most of them haven't made their public debut yet, so I guess it's understandable.

Wandering around the party, I spotted my father engrossed in conversation with a black-haired middle-aged man. And wait, was that Rias' dad? Ahh, now it all makes sense. No wonder Nee-sama was upset this morning. With a final glance at the crowd, I turned away, hoping fervently for this party to conclude swiftly. I'd much rather be asleep than wearing the artificial smile I've grown accustomed to at events like these.

I heave out a tired sigh, realizing that I might be stepping into Riser's shoes. Sirzechs' advice to take care of his sister makes more sense now. He knew I wouldn't make a move on Rias because I'm a siscon. Well, he's correct; Rias is not on my radar.

Don't get me wrong; the redhead will grow up into a stunning lady. But in my eyes, my Sona surpasses her in many ways. I'll make sure to teach my little Sona to become a proper high-class lady.

But then again, this engagement with Rias means I won't receive any more annoying marriage proposals from other families. I don't mind kids around my age, but why were women aged 40 to 100 present?! I'm still a 10-year-old, for heaven's sake!

As I contemplate the absurdity of it all, the System unexpectedly interrupts my thoughts.

[Congratulations, Host, for safely reaching ten years of age. The rewards are in your Inventory.]

Hmm, interesting. Does the System have this kind of function? Well, good to know. But just as I start reviewing my options, someone stands beside me. A boy with short blonde hair and dark eyes.

"Greetings, Heir of Sitri," he says, placing his wine glass on the table with a polite bow. "My name is Riser Phenex. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he introduces himself.

"It's a pleasure to meet you too, Riser Phenex," I respond, placing my hand on my chest before returning a bow. "The name is Savion Sitri. I hope you enjoy the party," I add.

And there it is, folks! The moment I met my first friend in this new life. Siscons attract each other, it seems. I wonder what's next? Meeting Nier from the game, perhaps?

-----------------------------------

Under the cloak of night, I roused from slumber, the faint traces of teleportation magic lingering in the air. Finding myself in an unfamiliar bedroom, distinct from where I had initially dozed off, a surprising revelation awaited me - my limbs were bound, tethered to the bed.

"Nee-sama?"

"Yes, Sa-chan?"

"What are you doing?" I ask Nee-sama, who's busy biting my neck. Great, another bite mark in the making.

"Kidnapping you," she responds matter-of-factly, as if abducting me from my own bed is the most natural course of action.

"Why?" I probe further.

"So that no one else can take you from me," she declares, as though asserting a universal truth.

"It doesn't work like that," I deadpan, a hint of amusement playing in my voice.

"Well, it does now."

"Nee-sama," I call out once more.

"Yes, Sa-chan?"

"Release me now, or I will hate you." The threat, uttered half in jest, surprisingly works, prompting her to swiftly undo the chain locks that have secured my limbs.

"Wahhh! Don't hate me, Sa-chan!"

With the chains released, the tension in the room lifts. "Now, Nee-sama, spill the details," seizing the opportunity, I steer the conversation towards the day's events, prompting Nee-sama to recount the unfolding drama in the viewing area.

"So… that Zekram Bael dude wants to engage me to one of his descendants?"

"Un," she affirms with a nod.

"I don't see any problem with that, Nee-sama. Even Lord Sirzechs has no problem with that," I quip, maintaining my deadpan demeanor.

"But I don't want others to have you. You are mine… and So-tan's alone. No other woman can have you," she hisses, revealing a possessive streak that seems to clash with her usual affable nature.

"That… Nee-sama, I am not an object," I sigh, attempting to inject a note of reason into the conversation.

"Won't you do the same to So-tan?" she inquires meekly.

"Don't compare yourself to me, Nee-sama. I won't do something that childish," I heave out a tired sigh.

"Then?"

"I believe in Sona," I respond, laying back on the bed.

"Why?" she queries, joining me in the repose.

"Because I am your little brother, Nee-sama," I reply, facing her, my hand instinctively cupping her cheek in a gesture of reassurance.

"Hmm?" She reciprocates by placing her hand on mine, a silent acknowledgement of the familial bond we share.

"Because you gave me everything you have. Both things I want and I don't," I continue, a genuine smile gracing my lips as I reflect on the profound connection we share. "That's why, by using myself as a reference, I can give Sona what I think she wants." I gently rub my nose with hers.

"Is that so?" Her warm breath mingles with mine, creating an unexpectedly comforting ambiance.

"That is so," I affirm, punctuating my words with a gentle kiss on her forehead, a gesture of affection that feels almost reflexive.

"You don't have to worry, Nee-sama. I will never leave you," this time, my lips brush against her nose, a tender reassurance of our bond. "I cannot promise if I can love you back the way you do," this time, the kiss finds its place on her lips, a testament to the complexity of emotions that surround us. "But, I will try, Nee-sama. So, don't be sad. I love my usual Nee-sama more," I conclude, met with widened eyes that hold a mix of surprise and affection.

"Sa-chan!"

"Yes, Nee-sama?"

"I love you."

"And I love you too, Nee-sama."

"Cancel the engagement."

"I will cancel it in the future. Now, I can use it as a cover for other potential engagements."

"I will allow it. But don't see her until I permit you to," Nee-sama asserts, her pouty expression revealing a playful side.

"Sure, sure, as Nee-sama says," I chuckle, appreciating the whimsical interlude.

"So, do you want to send me back to my room? We can cuddle to sleep in my bed," I suggest, steering the conversation towards a lighter note.

"Un," Nee-sama nods, sealing the moment with a tender kiss on my lips.

I do not care about Rias or my engagement with her. As long as I have Sona and Nee-sama, all is well in my universe.

-----------------------------------

Author's Note;

It's still 23:25 here, so Happy New Year to my dear readers!

Sirzechs was a bit OOC there, and I regret nothing.

The score is: Savion 01 - Sirzechs 00

Serafall is always on the attack. Not even Savion's willpower can stop her.
