I just stood there, dumbfounded. Why the hell he's here?! I don't think I would meet him in a place like shopping mall!

He's heading towards the restroom and he seem not to notice me.

'Huhhh you scared me to death!'

I tried to moved but it seems like my legs just gave up on obeying my thought.

I heaved a sight of relief, he hasn't notice me. When I'm about to turn around, I saw him striding out from the restroom! And he's just a meter away from me!

This time, I can't avoid him anymore and just stood there, blinking stupidly.

"Ms. Luna… ?"

He seem to be surprised when he seen me staring dumbly at him, and he step forward. Before I know it, he stops right in front of me.

"Can I ask you a favor?"

His way of speaking didn't seem like he's the boss at all, instead he seems like talking to his boss.

"Y-yes?"

"Can you please pretend to be my girlfriend?"

It's like my brain had been blown completely, what did he just say? Pre tend to…to be… his girlfriend?!

What is this kind of situation called? Disaster? Crisis? What should I reply to that!!

"W-why me?"

"Because you're the only one I know here"

No, I shouldn't asked him why he asked me, instead I should've asked him why he wants me to pretend to be his… g-girlfriend.

Like he can see through my mind clearly, he explained to me.

"Today I'm in a blind date that my parents prepared, I'm meeting Ms. Hedilson and I think that if she sees I already have a girlfriend, then she wouldn't be clingy around me before she made sure we broke up"

Now I'm speechless, the president didn't want to meet Ms. Hedilson that much? He want me to be his pretended girlfriend, but that's quite scary.

"Will you help me then?"

He seem very sincere and it made me can't help but just appease my boss. I taked a deep breath and said in a most confident tone I could.

"Okay then! W-what you want me to do, sir?"

Thin smile formed on his lips as I agreed to help him, he's my boss, he didn't have to asked me nicely, he can even scold orders to me.

"Thanks so much then, ready to act, babe?"

WHAT DID HE CALLED ME?!! Now I'm completely speechless.

"And you have to call me 'darling', so she would believe we're really dating"

WHAT?!! I CALL YOU 'DARLING'?!! Now I'm not just speechless, but my brain starts to get blurry, someone help me or I wold die young!

He noticed me got dumbfounded and he chuckled slightly to inform me it's not that serious.

"It's not that necessary, but to make sure she's convinced. You don't have to call me darling, you can just call my name"

He seems to see my dumbness as a little amusement, or he's teasing me?!

"Okay then, I'll call you Ace…"

He smile encouragingly and patted my back gently.

"Then I'll take you to the restaurant where she's waiting for me…"

But before he strode off, I just think of something and suddenly grabbed his arm.

And he turn to face me, but he's just staring in the spot where our skin touched.

I quickly withdraw my hand and said with embarrassment.

"Uhh boss, you said she's Adil Hedilson?"

"Yes, why?"

"I… I think I can't fool… 'that' Adil Hedilson…"

He laughed carelessly and said in a amusing tone.

"Not when you're my girlfriend"

"B-but we're just p-pretending…"

I protest hesitantly, and he shrugged.

"Or you didn't to just pretend? We can 'actually' dating temporarily"

I swallowed my saliva, why it turned out like this?!

He didn't waited for me to answer but instead shot me another question.

"Are you ready or not? If not I'm not going to force you…"

"I- I'm ready, boss!"

He smiled and strode forward, leaving me to take a deep, steadying breath as I follow him like a dog following its owner.
