Chapter 17

When Dani got back to Tony’s house on Friday afternoon she had to rush to get ready for her job at the mall.

Kenji had forgotten about her working at the mall. She didn’t bring it up often. He was strolling through a shoe store in the mall, looking for some new sneakers before he had to head to work.

While he was looking through the selection of different shoes a girl came up to talk to him.

“Ken? I haven’t seen you in so long!” Kenji turned to see who was talking and was met with a face he hadn't seen in years.

“Amelia? Wow, it’s been years!” He said with a shock, she was the last person he was expecting to see.

“Wow, we should catch up! Are you free right now?” She asked, and Kenji couldn’t help but say yes.

Dani was working in a little pizza shop in the mall food court, she was taking a family’s order when she saw a familiar face sitting across from a not so familiar girl.
