2 Meet your step sister

It was getting late Owen was getting bored , she paused her game and checked her message she saw two new ones from her mother .

'Owen!, You better get that small and flat ass of yours home right now.'

That was the first message she saw.

Owen dashed out of the office with her bag when she got to her car , opened the door and drove away.

Owen had to get to her house as soon as possible or else her mum will be angry with her and she doesn't want that to happen. When she got home which was 12 km away from work she got down from the car locked it and walked to the door but before she could knock on the door and mother open the door she gave her a hard glare before letting her into the house.

" Oh , you must be Owen . I am Emily"

A girl sitting on a single sofa greeted. " Mom ,are...we..." Owen looked confused .

"She's your step sister " Owen's mom told her .

"Oh , nice to meet you" Owen said .

" Yeah, I really wanted to meet my younger sister" Emily told .

" You are my elder sister not true. How old" Owen asked as she sqauted down in front of Emily. Her mother smiled as the two sisters got along so easily, that night was full with laughter, untill Emily announced that she wants to rest so she left the daughter for the mother.

" Owen!,why were you late when I told you not to be late!?" Her mother fumed angrily .

"Yes , but something came up. A woman son was kidnapped and she was crying ready to go on her kneels to beg us to find her son. She didn't want to leave the institute untill we agreed to help her so I had to help her" lie.lie. Owen lied .

" Oh you should have said that . I am so sorry for it , so tell me everything maybe I could..."

" No!... I mean no mom , you don't have to be involved . I will handle everything" Owen quickly said" and also please don't tell Emily about my job if she asks I'm in college."

"Okay, now go to bed ." Her mother smiled as she pushed her towards the stairs .

"Thanks mom you are the best" Owen told her mom .

"Go now " Her mum said
