2 One unfortunate moment

Just before the chapter begins I decided to change two things:

1, when Jason's speaking I'll use '

I'll keep " For other Characters

2, I'll use { for inner monologue}

Tell me if your happy with these changes and if theres anything you'll think would help to change for future chapters.

" woah... ., Jason open a window, smells like cigarettes and whiskey in here."

" Alright Jason ill take the chair, you go upstairs and find your new bedroom ok?"

' oh one more thing doc, thank you, for everything you know?'

"no problem Jason, I feel like every adult has failed you, you know?, when I first met you and heard the amount of things you' ve been through, I felt sick, ashamed even, so I decided ill do what ever It takes to help you"

"well, go get a good night of sleep Jason, you'll need it tomorrow."

'Docs a good man huh..., well I knew that from the start.'

'Right let's find the bathroom... *door opens*

Woahhh... Gotta open the a window, no wonder grandpa died huh... Cigarettes and whiskey a remedy for death'

A young man can be seen sleeping in room that looks to be stuck in time two decades before, from the old waper paper to very bed the young man lies in.

Chirping could be heard from a open window that looks down towards a deep green ocean of trees, this view would be described beautiful by the previous owner of the home.

Footsteps could be heard getting closer and closer, a mature man's voice could be heard calling the young man names *Jason* *Jason you awake*.

(Jason's point of view)

"Jason."

'arghhh.....'

"jason you awake?."

'yea doc.... I'm awake..'

" alright, I've made coffee, if you want some come down to the kitchen."

'ok no problem doc, I'll be down in a second'.

"alright see you then".

'thanks for the coffee doc, so what's the plan for the day?'

"no problem Jason, firstly we're going to clean this place up, and hopefully it's around 13:00 when we finish, after we will go explore the town, for shops and stuff, then we will go the school here and get you enrolled for soon as possible, Monday preferably. "

'sounds good doc..... Wait.. Did you say school?'

" uh huh"

'what makes you think I wanna go there?.'

"it doesn't matter if you want to go there or not, your going, your smart Jason and it won't be hard for you to catch up with all thoses books you read back at the Institute, and most of importantly you need friends Jason'.

'I've got Fri..'

"the security guards don't count Jason, they were doing job and entertained you, I mean real friends Jason, people you can trust and be there for you".

'I'm not going, I don't care enough about school to go'.

"first Jason, did your forget I have parental guardianship over you, therefor until your 18 which isn't until 11 months from now, you have to listen to me, your going to school, thats last of it, OK?"

'fine doc you win..'.

"well there we go, even though it was short notice we got you registered for Monday, your welcome by the way".

"sarcastic little brat, but all seriousness Jason, I want the best for your future, and I truly believe going to school and graduating will give significant progress to being someone you can be proud of".

'ok doc enough about school, I promise I'll go ok....'

"im going to hold you too that Jason, I'll have to head back soon Jason so I wanna set some goals for you, just like in the Institute"

'OK..., let's here them'

"first, you must set a daily routine, it keeps your right day to day. You must average around 7 hours a sleep a night, you will call me once a week, to keep me update on your health and any issues you have, secondly, you must, I repeat, must make a least 5 close friends, no negotiating on that. Lastly by your sixth month here I want you to be a B grade student or higher, any issues with that? "

'yeah a lot, but it's waste of time to argue about it'.

"oh one more thing, where is it..., here, I found this box of photos, they seemed to be of your mother and your grandfather."

"never apologise Jason for being emotional, and how many times do I have to tell you its not your fault Jason, *hugs jason* accidents happen, from falling, breaking plates to truly heart breaking moments, it's unfair but you have to realise its all part of life, everyone gets hurts but those who get up after are strong and courageous , get up Jason and stand strong."

' OK doc *sniff* *sniff* thanks...'

"life is a bitch, excuse my language but it is, One unfortunate moment can lead to a shit storm of hurt, a Downward spiral of pain, you would know this Jason, *weakly smiles at Jason* but my point is move on, better things do happen but you have to let them happen, accept not everything is your fault, things happen with out reason or control, you understand me Jason? "

'yea I do....lifes a bitch huh..'

" yeah she is, well let's end it here jason, I gotta go now if I want to get back before midnight".

"don't worry about it kid, take care of yourself OK, don't forget the goals, oh and show up to school on time alright".

'yea,yea I get it..., take care of yourself old man, mayby get a girlfriend anytime soon or you'll be alone for the rest of your life...'

'just get going, go on get out....'
