The monster in front of me is not strong, but it's annoying. The surprising fact that my opponent can withstand our beatings coupled with us having to protect Nanako and Haruka makes this fight a hassle.

The thing almost always attacked with AOE so we had to take the hit while covering Nanako and Haruka.

I hugged both Haruka and Nanako while summoning MADA. The heat gets to me, but that's about it. I felt comfortable in the fire but the same can't be said about Nanako and Haruka...

I finally reached the stairs leading up to a boss room. It's the astral clocktower. and personally my fav. boss fight of the series. as I inch ever closer. I can hear steels clashing in ferocity.

"I hear a fight Maou, should we?"

I ignored Sojiro's obvious comments and pressed on... with a katana in my right hand and my arquebus in my left.

"Can you let me try this alone? I would like to test my skill on one of the most skillful hunters."

I readied my weapons as I walked up the stairs, the expected scene of a woman sitting in a chair was not there, instead there's two identical women fighting against each other with ferocity, one of them is obviously Maria, the other one is... SAE? Is that you?

I noticed that Sae is holding on to one of her weapons. So I grabbed her weapon from her hands, and tossed it towards Maria.

She's shocked, knowing full well what it meant. I deny my handicap.

"I'm a demon lord, I fight heroes at their full strength with the will of the world behind them. and I'll settle for nothing less."
