I fell on my butt.

An azure beam of mana brushes past my hair! HEY YOU TRYING TO KILL ME!?

*Crack crack*

Cracks begin to form on the bridge we're standing on, as I finally am able to see the man who attacked me. He's me, literally me, with a paler complexion and… why are you wearing makeup!? What's with that hair too!? Wait… that coffin!

"Moriarty"

"Oh.. I'm surprised you figured it out… But to think that you're my host… I rather commit suicide than get dragged on to your foolish atrocisies. "

By committing cuicide does he mean KILLING ME? WAIT WHY ARE YOU MY OTHER HALF! I'M NEITHER A GENIUS NOR A MATHEMATICIAN!

But that train of thoughts has to stop there as we are free falling, and Moriarty's charging another beam. Shit Shit…. SHIT!

*BANG*

Another bang resounded, as another beam came towards me, luckily, or unluckily depending on how you see it, a rubble managed to separate us. Just in the nick of time, the blast that would've killed me hit that thing instead, the blast explosion flung me downwards.. Into the waterfall..

*Plsush* (SFX of Liam hitting the water)

FREAKIN A, A HEROIC SPIRIT OUT OF EVERYTHING ELSE! REALLY? AND WHY ARE WE HAVING COMBAT IN A WATERFALL? AND WHY IS THERE A TABLET— OH!!

I grabbed the tablet floating next to me, it seems that I somehow brought it along. Thank god that it's waterproof and is able to recognize my touch underwater!

Moriarty POV:

Tch. I missed it… This body is more limiting than I thought… and to be summoned as ruler as opposed to archer… No matter, I still have 4 shots left… the first shot… I can attribute that to his luck… but that second shot… and a boulder that by my calculations only has a meager 20% chance of appearing in front of me.

Using Reichenbach, I propelled myself up, that's another shot down.. I will not risk fighting underwater with that damn cockroach! 3 shots left. But I felt something strange… where's my foothold?

I fell downwards once more. Not wanting to waste another shot I used my Ruler-blade, jammed it into the pillar of the bridge, as it stopped my descent, my other hand is still holding on to the chain that is tied to Reichenbach…

So he has the ability to alter terrain? Next move will be, I guessed right, he intends to erase the pillar in which my blade is sticking onto, and reading his move I've long since propelled myself up. Running on a vertical surface is impossible for me, so I do the next best thing, I glided down towards the shore… or at least that's what I make him think, once I'm close to landing, rather than waiting for his trap to sprung, I Immediately pulled my chain that's connecting Rechenbach, Intending to use it to propel myself, but, the familiar feeling of my coffin is nowhere in sight!

Oh interesting, He relocated a debris on top of my coffin while I was gliding just enough for me to not feel the pull. But sadly for him, I can hover, as I guessed, the ground is riddled with spikes and other medieval traps… that means that he can somehow relocate objects, and terraform land, and make simple traps. Good to know. But not good enough!

I felt something behind me, as I stabbed it without hesitation. I looked behind me only to find… WHAT's this? A container of… from the smell… glue? Why would you? As soon as I was trying to find ways to counteract this ridiculous situation, I felt that the glue was going to fall on me, So I instinctively threw myself sideways, abandoning my blade, as soon as I did. I twisted my whole body, as I somehow knew that there's an invisible trap waiting for me… I'm glad I did as the moonlight revealed wires, upon wires waiting… I used my cloak to cushion my limbs, my cloak took most of the damage as my fabulous cloak is ruined… and so is my hand holding on to the chains of Reichenbach. Is this his plan all along… disarming me?

Oh now it's on. COME SLIDE RULE!

"I Challenge your formula that you've presented! Mathematical Malignant Annihilate!"

Liam POV:

Huh… I somehow feel different… Eh… Why was I pranking him again… Should I apologize? Nah he seems like he's not a cool dude…

Diving during the midnight is something that's not recommended… Even after selling all those leftovers from the bridge, buying myself a diving suit, an oxygen tank, and even a discounted mech… The depth still gives me chills…

Yeah I should go to the surface… With protection… Good thing I bought an experimental star that is sure to give you invincibility for 10 seconds! I mean why not right?

Moriarty POV:

My noble phantasm should Extract every Malice in the area, hence he should not be hostile towards me anymore, during that time I could just—

WHAT THE HELL IS THAT? No.. Calm down.. You're summoned to a future world where everything here is new. That;s's probably a common way to travel underwater, but I couldn't help but marvel at the design. A giant humanoid made out of an unknown metal. It's painted orange. A pair of wings, on each of it's pauldrons…

BUT IT'S TIME TO END THIS FARCE, as soon as I saw the hatch opening, I turned my ruler into a rifle as I sniped him with my magic bullet.

*Bang*

!? The expected damage didn't happen, instead, he's glowing in a rainbow color?

"Hey! That tickled!"

LIKE HELL IT DOES!

Down to my last bullet, I make a run for it! Running towards Reichenbach. I loaded it with my last magic bullet, only to find a barrel staring at me, the barrel is easily a head taller than me.

"Noble Phantasm, Liberated!"

Reichenbach opened up.

"MY FINAL FORMULA, THE ULTIMATE CRIME, I SHALL PROVE IT!"

Reichenbach pulses with blue energy.

"THE DYNAMICS OF ASTEROIDS!"

There's a strong flash of light… And then It all went black…

LIAM POV:

Huh… physics didn't lie after all. As I pressed the trigger on the sniper rifle that came with my mech. I annihilated the puny blue beam from Moriarty's noble phantasm.

After the ashes have subsided I can see Moriarty, baked to perfection. While smoke still rising… I can feel the whole place is crumbling.

"You've won. You've proved your calculations… superior."

"What the hell are you saying man?"

"I'm you, you dimwit! DO I HAVE TO SPELL EVERYTHING OUT FOR YOU?"

"... No, I figured that out already. Here sign this."

I conjured up a scroll and handed it towards the smoking, charred Moriarty.

"... This is slavery… I shall not agree to this!"

"Too late."

"Huh?"

"I signed it for you."

"... How is that.."

"I AM THOU, THOU ART I… remember?"

I said as I smirked.

"HAHAHAHAHA! And here I thought Holmes is my worst nemesis… it turns out it's me all along… Screw being the crime lord! Screw being an old man! Screw Holmes! Screw Ikemens! I'll just be a freaking mathematician! Freaking easier! HEY YOU! I CHANGED MY MIND! HAHAHA!"

"?"

He points at me

"I've decided! I'll make a mathematician out of you! I realize the futileness to go against the protagonists… their shine is everlasting while villains like me… Well let's say that I'll probably die buried in a waterfall somewhere…"

That's oddly specific and true…

"SO LISTEN HERE! LET'S STARVE TO BE PROTAGONISTS! AND LET'S BLOW AWAY OUR DEATH FLAGS ONE AFTER ANOTHER!"

Wait wait wait, why are you the one with the character development? Shouldn't it be me?

" WITH YOU AROUND THIS'LL BE FUN! I AM THOU… THOU ART I… FROM THE SEA OF THY SOUL, I COME…. I AM JAMES MORIARTY, THE HEAD OF ALL EVIL THAT SPANS ACROSS THE WORLD! COME LET US JOURNEY TO FIND THE MOST IMPORTANT VARIABLE X!"

He said that as the whole space crumbles… And I'm somehow inside a train…

"LAST STATION, SHINJUKU. PLEASE CHECK YOUR BEL—"

Moriarty huh… sure… why not…And so I walk in the empty street…I suddenly feel a presence behind me…

"Dear, please tell mommy why there's a charge of one million halos for a Giant Mech?"
