Chapter 36 : My Pace

# I may or may not have rushed this chapter, I was hooked playing p5s, sorry.

After my mini getaway with Haruka-chan, I found out from Yu that Kanji is inside the T.V. world. Nothing I can do at the moment except to pray for his safety, but with all the extra training Yu has gotten from Isshin every morning, it should be a walk in the park. Or so I thought.

As I was walking to school with Yu his friends appeared one by one.

"Akira"

A certain Inn-Manager called out to me.

"Yes Yukiko-chan?"

"You don't believe us don't you?"

"Hmmm where does this come from?"

"I mean the whole thing about another world just inside the TV."

Oh yeah… about that, it's not that I don't believe you, but as fate would have it I can't actively help you.

"I understand your concern Yukiko, but don't worry I wouldn't tell anybody." - I said with my usual smile.

"That's not what we meant, ugh...." said Chie as she started getting irritated.

"Hey guys, over here a sec."

Yosuke said as they group up to discuss something, feeling a bit intrigued, I summoned my stand to hover close to them, they shouldn't be able to see him right?

"Hey, what if we just shove him inside the TV? Would that make him believe us?" - Yosuke for once actually gives a decent Idea, I can't deny it if there's proof in front of my eyes.

"I doubt it will happen. Master Isshin told me to make him move, someone needs to be at master's caliber." - Oh that's Isshin for you, he knows his stuff. But if we do fight one day I bet it'll be messy.

"Ughhh… his grin everyday is so annoying, Hey Yu, how can you stand being with him everyday?" - So that's what ticks you off huh. Good to know Chie.

"I agree. While he is annoying, I have to say he did help us a lot. He covered for Yu almost every time we went inside the TV world, and I daresay without him we would be prime suspects for the disappearances lately. " said Yukiko-san, it seems that everyone nodded as her statement.

"You guy's shouldn't mind him for now, although his smirk is annoying I must admit," Said Saki-san. " We should concentrate on finding Kanji inside the TV world, we can convince him after."

"Right. So what's the plan Yu? Should we go today?"

Yu nods,"Yeah, we're going to save Kanji today."

After School, the Investigation team immediately left without bothering me. And so I also begin my own activity, which is, going home and spending time with Nanako and Haruka. On my journey Back I received a phone call from Uncle Kaz.

"Akira, can you help Haruka with her transfer to Inaba Elementary School."

"Huh? Aren't you going to pick her up?"

"Initially yes, but with what you've been doing, and with the TJC activities lately, I have a feeling that something bad is going to happen, since you had OA in the palm of your hand now, she's way safer with you than with me in Tokyo."

Huh well look at that. With all the time haruka is kidnapped which have become a common recurring theme in the game. Sometimes I think that even if you lock her up in a room and throw away the key, Haruka would still be KID-napped by someone one way or another. So now Uncle Kaz is throwing the ball to me huh.

"I'll trust you in this Uncle Kaz, but when are you visiting, Haruka seems to miss you."

"When I've settled everything here, I met your sister-in-law and we're trying to end the JingWoo Mafia as we speak. With them gone that's one less thing we had to worry about."

So they're still around huh, I thought they've retreated to the edges of japan right about now since I've given the order to cull them.

"Ok. Anything else Uncle Kaz?"

"Majima-san says he'll love to meet you."

Thinking about the said person, Goro Majima is how to say this, a bag of surprise, you either love him or hate him with all your being. I personally like his character in the game. But in this life though, it's too soon to judge. But he's a very resourceful individual that's for sure.

"So how is Uncle Majima Lately?"

"ME? I'M more than happy AKIRA-CHANNN~"

I look towards my back. Ah shit, a slim , tall man, with an eyepatch. His hair today is surprisingly slick, with hairs just above his ears, and the rest are shaved clean, with his signature snakeskin jacket, and black jeans. My worst fears have come true.

"Shit."

"Well aren't you happy your Uncle Majima came to visit? Now give this Uncle a hug!"

Well mind as well. As I just opened my arm for a hug, I felt a familiar sensation of being lifted. With a slim frame like that, I'm surprised by the strength hidden behind it. And before I know it, My world is turned upside down, as Majima slams my head towards the ground.

*bang*

"HAHAHA! You're still as pure as always Akira-Chan"

I've begun to think having my head bonked to the concrete is the norm of greeting people.

"I can't believe the small Akira-chan have grown into a dependable maou-sama~" said Majima with a high pitched voice.

As I pull myself back up, I finally see my surroundings. It seems that Uncle Majima isn't alone this time as he brought with him what seems to be a shooting crew? And Hideyoshi what are you doing here?

"You alright maou-sama?" Hideyoshi looked at me worriedly

"Of course he is! He won't be called maou if that managed to take him out!" I like your confidence Uncle Majima, but believe me being suplexed by you is just as deadly as diving headfirst to a bulldozer.

"So, what brings you here?" I asked while dusting off my clothes.

"Your IDEA IS SIMPLY AMAZING! NOW I HAVE EXCUSE TO KI--- *ahem* to find talents all over japan" exclaimed Uncle Majima. I'm sure you're just about to say kill but who? I don't remember Majima having grudges with other families. Or is it Kidnap? Does he really want to kidnap teenagers? possible.

"OH! Uncle Majima , --"

"Call me Goro-nii, I wouldn't like anyone thinking I'm old, Right Girls?"

As he said that I heard a resounding energetic "YES!" from behind the crew, it seems like an idol group.

"Ok.. Goro-nii, how was the road? I never knew you had plans in Inaba. It's a small city with nothing to offer."

"Well you see," he pointed at a girl with a copper twintail and,"Someone is homesick and wants a break, I was gonna stop her but when I heard it was Inaba, I knew I had to come to give you a suplex!"

"Are you staying then Goro-nii?"

"Hell naw! Who would stay in a small town like this, it's just not for me Akira-chan! It's about the stage: Now Our stage is in a bigger City! we'll shoot some materials here explaining about RISE-chan's break and then we'll be off! Anyway, how's Haruka these days. I always hear Kiryu mentioning her but not me, it breaks my heart you know? Can't you tell him to think about me more ---" Uncle Majima just goes on and on about Uncle Kaz.

But Rise huh? I scanned through the idol group that's with the production crew and my eyes finally fell into a copper haired girl. She had an average height, an athletic body, and when she notices my gaze, She simply waves at me and gives me an Idol-like smile, the other girls that notice her action also did the same. If she's here does that mean that her arc is about to start? Oh well we'll cross that bridge when we get there. When I was nonchalantly thinking about it 2 fingers poke my eyeballs.

*poke* FUCK! that hurts seriously!

"NO ogling my assets Akira-Chan! Especially when I'm talking! You can ogle at them later, for now you have to help me with Kiryu-chan, how to get his attention?!"

While rolling on the floor a nasty idea came to my mind.

"Is Uncle Kaz managing the TJC alone? Does he have other side activities? Like I dunno, Cabaret club maybe?"

"Hmmm… now that you mention it, he is seen helping a small cabaret club lately. OOOH I SEE! HOW CAN I BE SO BLIND? THANKS FOR THE IDEA AKIRA-CHAN!"

I may have just awakened a monster, sorry Uncle Kaz better you than me.

Uncle Majima disappears to… god knows where, as the production crew is left alone to set up with only themselves and Hideyoshi. It seems like they already have a general idea of what to shoot.

"So Hideyoshi, what is in today's agenda? and didn't I just meet you yesterday?"

"I didn't have any plans to come to Inaba to be honest, I suddenly got kidnapped and the next thing I know here I am." - Hideyoshi laughs cheerfully, as he quietly looks at the producers, crew, and talents at work. Speaking of producers…

"Oh yeah, the producers here are all new, they just started today. The last batch was castrated or culled. Courtesy of Goro-nii."

I expected as much. As much as Uncle Majima tried to hide it he has soft spots for kids and women. As he himself has been in that kind of Industry.

"Are they trustworthy?"

"Most of them came from Osaka. We did background checks, and even preference checks. Safe to say the chances of those incidents repeating are close to none."

"How about the girls?"

"Compensated. The best I could, although most just mocks me for it. The ones who are thankful, are either here right now, or quit all together."

"So are all these?"

"Most are new, except a few who still want to be in this industry."

As we're having a conversation, a man in a suit approaches us.

"Kinoshita-sama, we're ready to start anytime, will you be watching from here?"

"Yeah go ahead. We'll watch from here and try not to disturb your recording activities."

"Ok. If there's something that you think is amiss please tell me, your eyes are really good at this Kinoshita-sama."

"Carry on."

And so the shooting started, since we're in the shopping district, and the girls are all eye-catching, it didn't take long before it turned into a scene, with even the police having to come to help us clear the perimeter of normal bystanders, the press on the other hand are being kept at bay.

"OK! And -- Cut!"

The shoot went horribly if I must say, as now there's an orderly line of bystanders cheering. But it could have gone worse. Over the course of all this, multiple retakes are needed courtesy of the aforementioned crowd. Like this one …

A random man suddenly comes through the crowd as he somehow manages to slip past the police line, as he's making a dash towards us.

"Risee-chaaaan!"

Getting irritated by the constant interruption, I stood up, and with quick movements kicked the man's ankle, and proceeded to beat him into a pulp with my fists before being stopped by the Police who apologized for the constant interruption. After getting a better look at the men, he doesn't seem to be a member of the press, how did he get across? From what I saw, everyone who seemed suspicious and/or is not the press is not even remotely allowed within the close perimeter.

Now there's total silence. I grabbed a megaphone from the closest officer.

"Police officer please make way."

As the police who were holding the 'line' made way for me. I hold the megaphone in front of me. Now that I look at it, it seems that in front of me are mostly reporters.

"Feel free to cross this line… "

As I said that a random man, put his feet over the line, as he did that. I stepped on his ankle and heard a crack.

".... If you want to get crippled."

As I kicked his shin, sending him back to the crowd.

*murmurs murmurs*

"H-h-h-Hey did he just"

"Yeah crazy with the cops around him, what is he a Yakuza? Even Yakuza can't do that infront of cops right?"

"This is my final warning. Either you stay here in silence, or get silenced by me understand? I have already given you backdoor access to our latest project, don't get ahead of yourself. Or do you want us to blacklist you?"

*murmurs murmurs*

"Demon!"

"The Demonic Director of the idol group!"

Hey hey don't give me another strange nickname ok.

"Hey officer."

"Yes maou-sama?"

"There's a stalker on that building there, please catch him for me."

I said with a loud voice so that everyone can hear, I pointed towards the 2nd story of a bike shop. The said person immediately runs away.

"Understood" as he forwards my orders from the radio. Today just gets stranger and stranger.

"Now then I hope you enjoy your day, and try not to get into the blacklist."

I said to the crowd of reporters, as they gulp at the prospect of being blacklisted by Fuji Entertainment.
