My first destination is the clinic. I'm rushing at my full speed hoping that I'm not too late. and when I finally reached the clinic.

"Oh That smell... are you a hunter?"

ah it seems that the imposter hasn't taken her. but then I realized she's not talking to me. In the original game she should've been replaced by an impostor. Better safe than sorry, even if it's the impostor, she still needs to live...

*clang* *bang*

I can hear the sound of sword strikes and gunshots form behind the door. I readied my hammer, after confirming that the good doctor is nowhere near the door, I smashed the door, it flung wide open.

"Pleasure to make your acquaintance doctor Iosefka."

"!?"

I'm shocked to find two doctors. It seems that both of them are fighting, they look like twins, and to make matters worse both are proficient in using their weapons.

lore wise the fake kills the real one, but I'm not taking any chances.

"[The Choir] sends its regards."

one of the women lets out a [Sinister laughter], so that's the imposter. I rushed up towards her, and immediately swiped my hammer at her legs. it bent into a weird direction. as she was about to scream, the doctor beside me sent a sucker punch and took her out.

Killing her solves a lot of problems, but I need her as a backup NPC that drops a key item...

in the game to fight the [real] final boss, you need 3 umbilical cords, and only women of this world can produce them, as after a certain boss, a few of them will get pregnant suddenly.

two can be obtained by killing bosses, two more are gained by completing quest lines.

"Thank you for your assistance. I thought I'm done for WAIT YOU'RE---! " She points her fingers at me while muttering with a low voice somewhere among the lines of 'this is the guy sojiro has been telling me about right?'.

"Maou-sama? What happened? The last thing I remember is that we're in that room and suddenly.... I WAS ATTACKED!? AND WHY DOES SHE LOOKS EXACTLY LIKE ME!? " she points to the importer whose leg is twisting in a weird way.

"oh she's ---" Wait why am I even explaining this to her.

I gave quite a lengthy explanation...

"The Chapel is a safe spot, we're gathering survivors there. follow me."

I've changed a quest line. anything else that's going to happen after this will be in our hands.

"Maou-sama, you're back, and who's that? Are they twins? Holy hell when I said women, I never knew you had the charm."

I simply throw the imposter like a potato shack towards the group.

"Tie her up, lock her up, and gag her."

"!?"

Everyone looks at me strangely.

"And don't heal her wounds, you guys won't be able to handle her."

"I doubt we can't take down Chihaya, much less with one leg."

"HEY! WHAT DOES THAT MEAN!?"

I don't doubt that, but what I doubt is your sanity after you see what will happen to her. so I just shot them a stern look, and it looks like they understand.

"Doctor."

"yes? ah now that I look at you aren't you that kid that smoke right after getting discharged?"

oh yeah we met before, haven't we.

"Do you bring any strong sedatives? the stronger the better."

"I think I saw some in the clinic before..." said a certain fortune teller.

"If only I had my persona with me I can create it in a bit." said the punk doctor.

"I would trouble you to make one enough to sedate an elephant for a day or more."

"Are you planning to administer it to her?" points the punk doctor to the unconscious imposter.

"no, but for him," I pointed at Sojiro.

"Me?"

"I talked to Nobi, the effect of these dreams on the mind is unimaginable. so when the time comes, I hope we can help you by knocking you out before wiping your memories." I threw Nobi under the bus again. oh well.

"Huh? Wait explain to me --- GOD DAMMIT! KIDS THESE DAYS." I hear his scream as I just walked away towards a non-optional boss. Vicar Amelia. She's supposed to be in the grand Cathedral.

"MAOU-SAMA!"

a hand grabbed my shoulder as I saw doctor Iosefka follow me, well I said follow, but she could just be following the trail of corpses I left behind.

"What is it?"

"What in the world are you thinking! slaughtering those people!?"

"They attacked first."

"Aren't we supposed to help them?"

"Ah then I would like to see you try. I'll just mow down everyone in my way, sooner or later they'll turn. I just ease their pain by smashing their heads in one go."

"EH!? aren't we the good guys?"

"Are we? we're saving our own world, I could care less about what happens to this one." That's my real feelings. I mean fuck this world there's no happy ending to be found here!

"And why are we moving to a scary looking Cathedral?"

"Ah that... To kill a madwoman."

"!?"

After reaching the top, I can see someone on their knees praying, covered by tattered clothes.

"I don't think she's crazy at all!"

The inaudible prayer continues. as I paid no mind towards the doctor's complaints and simply just stride forward, readying my hammer. As I was about to end the boss before it transformed.

"ARE YOU CRAZY?"

That scream was enough for the boss to notice me...

sigh... I should've left her somewhere or just knocked her out. and just as she is about to yell at me again, the harmless girl from before suddenly grows grotesquely, as horns and small tentacles like fur sprout out of her body. It now looks like a T-rex with small white tentacles and a long arm.

"Yes, she's crazy."

*ROAR*

Is it too much to ask for an easy boss? I guess it is.

The monster immediately tries to bite me, my arquebus is ready and I shoot it's legs. with it's balance broken, it slid down towards me, I simply swung down my hammer on the face like hitting a golf ball.

The impact sent the best tumbling away. it manages to stand up again and it jumps and tries to slam me with its giant legs.

I side stepped, and swung my hammer upward, hitting it square in the jaw as it landed from the jump. The swing managed to lift the creature up again.

Wait... can I ... Juggle this creature? I rushed to it's landing trajectory, and swung my hammer upwards with an intent of juggling the beast, but gravity had other plans, as it just sent the best sideways.

"Tch"

The beast quickly corrects it's posture as it bounces off the wall and closes in on me with claws ready to cut me into pieces.

I did a 360 spin with my hammer and released the 'sheath'. the hammer head flew towards the beast's mouth halting it's momentum. This momentary stagger allows me to close in and stab the beast in the skull.

A screeching scream came after I managed to stab it deep as my whole arm was in its body. after a few moments of struggle. it finally lost it's vitality and like any other bosses it fell down and disappeared into particles of light.

"Maou-sama! Chihaya said, ``You need help."

Ah it seems Curiosity got the better of sojiro as he came here with his party of 3, he came with Yoshida and Iwae.

"Ah Sojiro, good you're here. go touch that thing."

"Eh? Is it safe?"

"Is anything here safe?"

"Good point."

"it won't hurt. that's for sure but you'll pass out.... maybe"

"Ugh... I'm trusting you on th---" his words trail off as he touches the unknown skull that looks like a dog's. he fell unconscious.

"Yoshida, Iwae take him back. and take a short rest, we'll resume at nightfall."
