"And what about you naughty kids? Do you trouble the old man and Sister Lily?" Alex turned to Nash and others, asking with a smile.

"We are good children, big brother Asta. We even helped Sister Lily." Nash entered inside and said with a big smile. "You can ask, Sister Lily."

"Yeah, we're obedient children," Recca said quickly.

Sister Lily wiped her tears with a smile. "Yeah, Nash and others are really nice children."

"Yes," Alex turned his head towards the old man.

"I'll not interfere between you guys but promise me." Father Orsi glanced at Lily and said seriously. "You will never make her sad."

Lily's body trembled as she tried to hide her expression.

Alex stared at the old man and nodded his head. "I promise you."

"Good. You have my blessings and I will pray to god for you both." Father Orsi smiled and turned around to leave.

Alex slightly bowed his head at the retreating back of the old man.

'Thank you, Father. I really wish to have a dad like you in my past life rather than that bastard.'

Lily stayed behind and helped the children go to bed before walking out.

She saw Alex waiting for her and just as he came into her view, she jumped into his arms.
