Dr. Banner

It was already dawn and Aegon was starting to get up and think about what he would do during the day, the only important thing he had scheduled for today was a meeting with Jennifer to attend to some legal matters.

The life of a young and successful businessman was exhausting and filled with a lot of work.

He thought it would be a good idea to find a secretary to organize his schedule, or maybe he just wanted a beautiful woman in a business suit handing him the reports Edward sent her.

But the truth is that he would be of some help to her. Before leaving the room, Aegon created a clone and sent it to collect something that it was about time to collect.

Aegon left his room and headed towards D'narda who he could feel walking through the apartment. He found her in the kitchen looking curiously at the refrigerator and wondered if she was hungry.

"Hungry?" The woman had a small jump, almost imperceptible. "You surprised me." She was so absorbed in observing everything that caught her attention that she had forgotten her surroundings. "I was just curious, I haven't stopped surprising myself since I woke up. I never would have imagined that the world would change so much."

"As I promised later I will ask my girlfriends to take you around the city and update you on these new times." She just nodded in agreement when she heard him. She was grateful to the young man who had helped her when she woke up in an era that was not hers. "You will also need to buy clothes and other items."

"I appreciate you helping me, I don't have a way to pay you right now, but if there is ever anything I can do for you, please let me know." D'narda paused, then asked her what she wanted to know. "Because you help me?"

Aegon understood that the woman was being cautious, she was no fool. "Why do I help you? I would say it was because you are beautiful, I was also curious to meet someone who lived a few thousand years ago, and finally because I can. I saw you, I wanted to help you and I did, I don't need any more reasons. I am a simple man to understand, I like to live in luxury and I like to spend good times with beautiful women. I don't have big ambitions like ruling the world or being worshiped as a god, my only ambition is to maintain my lifestyle. Simple right?"

"I guess so." She answered not very sure, in her past life she had never met a person like the young man in front of her, maybe he was just someone who thought he had everything and lacked purpose or maybe he was still very young.

"And you don't need to thank me, everything I've done I did because I wanted to, not because you asked me for something, which you haven't. By the way, what do you plan to do with your life now?"

"I think it would be better if I reply to you later after I know a bit more about this era." Aegon thought for a second about what she said. "You're right. The girls should be here in no time. Speaking of them, it goes without saying that nothing can happen to them."

The vampiress could feel a small chill throughout her body. "Don't worry, I wouldn't be able to. Besides, the blood I drank from you is enough, I'd say for a week."

The 2 were chatting for a while and ate some pizza for breakfast that was still left in the refrigerator. Aegon thought that more than a secretary he should get a chef. In 3 days Felicia would be moving in with him, but her cooking skills were non-existent.

It had only been an hour since Aegon got up and the girls had finally arrived, they were all there. "Others!?" It was the first thing they said when they saw D'narda who just looked at Aegon in confusion.

"Stop thinking so poorly of me. She's just a friend, her name is D'narda and I met her last night. Sit down, I'll explain everything before you start thinking about things that aren't." he answered them a little annoyed that they mistrusted him, who did they think he was?

Aegon spent the next half hour explaining how he and D'narda had met. The girls could only listen with their mouths open as their boyfriend had fought against a group of vampires who wanted to start a vampire apocalypse.

"So that's the meeting Logan had that night. He came in in a great mood." He mentioned Ororo when he found out that Logan had gone with Aegon on his nightly adventure.

"Well, Logan needs exercise from time to time. Now that you know everything, I would like to ask you to take D'narda shopping, she needs clothes and other things. Besides, she is a granny several centuries behind, you could put her up to date."

"Hey! Who do you think you're calling grandma?" This was the first time Aegon had seen her angry. "Remind me, how old are you?" The woman looked at him uncomfortably. "That is not of your incumbency."

"I don't want to be a bird of ill omen, but that's how it all begins," Gwen told the rest as she pointed at D'narda. "And remember he likes redheads." This time it was MJ, who only earned a quizzical look from everyone except D'narda and Aegon who didn't understand what they were talking about.

They stayed in the apartment for a while longer chatting and all being friendly with Aegon which made D'narda feel a little out of place, but she watched their interaction with some envy. The magic was already beginning to take effect.

In the end, the girls convinced Aegon to create a clone to accompany them during the day, they wanted him to go with them, but he told them that he had to take care of legal matters about his business and he had to go personally.

With the girls off to go shopping, Aegon headed towards Hell's Kitchen to meet up with Jennifer. As usual, he opened a Gorge to a place out of public view near where Jennifer was. When he arrived he was surprised when he saw the building being taken over by military forces.

Not having been spotted, Aegon used a kido to hide his presence and immediately headed towards Jennifer whose seal had begun to alarm him at that moment.

In just a few seconds Aegon was reaching the room where Jennifer was when a loud crash shook the entire building and with this, he began to feel that Jennifer's presence was moving away.

When he entered the room he saw some soldiers in bad shape, traces of blood, and the wall at one end of the building had a huge hole. In the distance, he could see the huge figure of a green humanoid walking away with Jennifer in his arms.

The Hulk had finally appeared. Aegon would be a little more relaxed sensing that Jennifer was just a little nervous now if it wasn't for the blood trails that worried him, so he decided to follow them, anyway, it was about time Jennifer knew a little more about him...

Following Jennifer and the Hulk, Aegon arrived at a small hangar on the outskirts of the city. Once there the Hulk began to change form and soon it was Dr. Banner who was in control of his body again. The Dr. was frantic and Aegon could see why, Jennifer had a gash in her stomach. Immediately Aegon canceled the kido.

Dr. Banner almost jumped in fright when surprised by the presence of a young man who was in the same place as him and his cousin. At first, he thought it was someone who was in this remote place for some unknown reason.

But something was strange about him, normally if you see a naked man carrying a wounded woman you would have a strong reaction. On the contrary, the boy in front of him approached and did not seem uncomfortable with the situation.

"I don't think there's time for introductions right now Dr. Banner." It was the first thing Aegon said alarming the Dr., but it was true that they hadn't had much time to see Jennifer's condition. "Save suspecting her for another time Dr. Jennifer has lost a lot of blood and we are a long way from any medical help. Do you have any idea what we can do to save her life?"

"Aegon." It was Jennifer who spoke when she saw him arrive, her voice was faint. "Don't worry, everything will be fine," he told her as he took her hand. Jennifer just smiled, then looked at her cousin. "You can trust him, he's a great guy."

Banner still couldn't help but be alert to the presence of the boy who had suddenly appeared, but he couldn't ignore the state of his cousin either. Looking around, he was lucky to find a medical kit and some utensils that could be useful (just like in the movies).

Having made up his mind he picked up Jennifer again and carried her from her. "Clean that table over there." He told Aegon pointing to a table with some objects on it. Once Aegon cleared the table, Banner placed Jennifer on top of it.

"Get that medikit on the back wall." Banner continued to instruct him and while Aegon searched for the medikit Banner gathered what he thought might be of use to him.

"What are you going to do, Dr. Banner?" Aegon asked him, although he had a clear idea of what the good Dr was up to. If he was wrong he would take Jennifer and take care of everything, he could still use a forbidden kido and then go to the X-Men facility or he would go Kamar-Taj, finally, always remaining to turn her into a vampire.

The doctor was silent for a few seconds before answering. "The bullet came out and from the position of the shot I would like to believe that it did not hit any organ or it would not have lasted as long." Seeing the look his cousin gave him, the doctor felt a little embarrassed by the way he spoke.

"Sorry, for now, we must stop the bleeding." Taking the needle and thread that was in the medicine cabinet, the doctor prepared himself. "This is going to hurt a bit." Jennifer just nodded.

"I think I can help with the pain." Banner and Jennifer didn't understand what he was talking about, but they didn't take long to notice how his eyes changed color, Aegon's eyes that were black a few moments ago changed to a very beautiful blood red color with 3 tomoe that began to turn and take a shape similar to a shuriken.

When Aegon met Jennifer's eyes she seemed to lose focus and her body relaxed. "You can start Dr."

It didn't take long for Banner to close the gunshot wound, but Jennifer had lost quite a bit of blood by then. "She's done, now the only problem is the blood loss she suffered. She needs a transfusion as soon as possible."

"Can you be the donor? Your blood could have healing effects, mine is too dangerous." This was not true.

The poor doctor only nodded, seeing no other alternative. With everything ready, he began to perform a blood transfusion.
