10 Chat Between friends

The rest of the day continues as usual with boring classes and at lunch time everyone gathers in the school dining room, as they talk Aegon watches as Felicia enters the dining room and calls his name.

"Hey Felicia, sit with us."

Felicia was surprised that someone suddenly called her and when she looked at the voice she saw Aegon and his group of friends. After thinking about it for a second, Felicia decided to walk over it.

Although it seems false, Felicia was a bit of a lonely girl deep down, her naturally seductive and sarcastic character almost always caused girls to avoid her, boys for their part saw her as a sex object and always hovered around her.

"Are you sure I'm not intruding?" She asked looking at all the girls at the table.

"Why are you, you have bad habits at the table?" Aegon answered him before anyone else could say anything.

When she heard the question he asked her in front of everyone, Felicia felt a strong urge to hit him. "Of course not! How could you ask a girl something like that?"

"It's just that I saw you hesitate so much that I thought you were embarrassed about something. So are you going to sit or stand there?"

"Did they tell you that you might be bored?"

But Aegon didn't answer, Liz did. "I assure you I do." Then he extended his hand to her. "We've met often, but this is the first time we've met, Elizabeth Allan, but everyone calls me Liz."

"Felicia Hardy."

"Hi Felicia, I'm Mary Jane Watson nice to meet you." MJ looked happy as usual, after all he was someone who made friends more easily.

"I'm Peter, Peter Parker."

"Cindy moon."

"Edward Leeds, but everyone calls me Ned."

"Jessica Camp...Jones, Jessica Jones." Jessica still had times where she forgot that her last name was no longer Campbell, but Jones.

"Felicia and I already know each other. I'm glad you're joining us today." Harry said.

"Harry I'm glad to see you, I'm sorry about what happened to Ryan the other day. He's not a bad boy, but he can be overprotective sometimes." Felicia's words sounded like Harry had a fight with another boy.

Gwen spoke up seeing that Harry looked uncomfortable. "Felicia and I already know each other, we were working together in chemistry class."

MJ and Liz made room for Felicia to sit between them and they all continued their lunch while chatting with each other for a bit.

"I have to admit I find you a strange bunch." Felicia gets everyone's attention at an event and speaks to them.

"Why do you think that?" Peter asked, but everyone except Aegon seemed interested in Felicia's answer.

"Well on the one hand there's Mary Jane and Liz, you guys seem like girls like cheerleaders, Gwen is a smart and friendly girl, I'd say the most balanced. Jessica is like a goth girl, with dark clothes and an attitude that says 'What do they mean to me? I think I don't care' and Cindy is the charismatic girl who is always surrounded by other girls. With the boys we have Peter and Ned, don't take it the wrong way, but anyone who says they are nerds. Harry is the rich kid who has everything in life. Finally, Aegon looks like a member of the football team with his muscular and intimidating appearance."

Everyone was thinking about Felicia's words when she finished. Jessica spoke first.

"It's true that I wear dark clothes most of the time, but not always. And yes, I don't give a damn what other people think of me. Why should I?" He said shrugging his shoulders.

Peter spoke after him. "I think saying I'm an idiot is a bit of an exaggeration, maybe understated."

"Peter, we're nerds, there's no point in denying it." Ned answered MJ and Harry respectively while the rest nodded. "Felicia is right." "You can't hide who you are."

When Peter saw that everyone nodded betraying him, even Cindy agreed.

"Cindy?"

"I'm sorry Peter." The girl laughed and avoided him.

"I'm rich and I have a good life. I wouldn't say I'm complaining, nor do I see why I should." Deep down I had many complaints though.

Hearing Harry's response, Felicia quickly said, "I never said you should, if I want to go to the birthday party here, it's yours."

Harry just smiled and replied. "I'll remember to see if there's still room and I can add you to the guest list."

"That was good Harry." Jessica said with a smile.

"I think I'm always cheerful, personally I think it's a good thing. Besides, my friends don't think so."

"No way." "I also think it's a good thing." "Please don't change." "I love that you're always happy." Those were some of the answers that Cindy got, the last one coming from Peter who was a little embarrassed when he realized what he had said.

"The truth is that on more than one occasion I thought about being a cheerleader, but I lost enthusiasm." MJ replied and Liz just nodded, implying that this was the case for her as well.

"It's true that I'm pretty smart so I guess it's okay." Gwen said as she was thoughtful and saw that only Aegon didn't tell her she asked him.

"What's wrong with you? Don't you have anything to say?"

"Peter I'm hungry, give me your dessert."

Peter was left to try to figure out what the stupid friend was talking about, but he answered without paying too much attention. "I won't give you anything, I'll die before I give you my dessert." They were all 'What?'

Aegon looked at Felicia with a defeated face. "Felicia, I don't think I'm really that scary." Now everyone started laughing.

As they finished lunch and headed down the hall to their next class, there was a boy who noticed Felicia and approached her.

"Felicia hasn't seen you today." She looked happy to see him, but her face was no longer happy to see Harry. "Is this rich guy bothering you again?"

Harry knew right away that they were talking about him. "Do you have a problem with me talking to him. I didn't know you were a couple."

"Maybe if I have a problem with that. What are you going to do, big guy, go cry to daddy?"

Felicia saw the situation and decided to intervene. "Ryan left him alone, he wasn't bothering me."

As the boys looked at each other as if they were going to go over each other at any moment, a voice distracted them.

"No one bothered anyone until you showed Ryan. Why don't you go back the way you came?" Aegon said to Ryan putting his hand on Ryan's shoulder.

Feeling Aegon's hand on his shoulder, Ryan tried to free himself, but to no avail, it only increased the pressure of Aegon's hand causing him pain that was visible to all.

"Leave Aegon, you're hurting him!" Felicia yelled at him, drawing the attention of everyone in the hallway.

Completely ignoring Felicia, Aegon continued. "You heard Felicia, Harry wasn't bothering him. Sorry."

Despite the pain the boy refused to apologize so Aegon applied more pressure bringing the boy to his knees. "Let's go now!" Felicia growled.

"Enough already, let's let it go." This time Peter spoke to him. Aegon knew it was best not to continue and risked releasing Ryan as a teacher.

The boy, feeling the pressure on his shoulders disappear, felt relieved, but humiliated at the same time. "It won't stay that way I promise you."

"It's better for your sake to keep it that way." AEgon told him and started to walk back to his class. The rest also retreated with various expressions.

Harry walked away. "I didn't need you to protect me. I'm not Peter."

"Peter doesn't need defending either and I didn't do it for you. I just don't like the boy, simple as that." Aegon said nothing more to him.
