66 A Shattered Pride

'It's actually shining?' Senzaemon thought.

While Miu, rubbed her eyes, and spoke. "Umm… is it just me or is the egg shining? Desu wa?"

"No it isn't just you! It's really shining! Also what kind of fragrance is this? I never smelt anything like this before!" said Alice, she didn't expect that this little egg would shine!

"Hmm.. it's more shiny than the dishes he cooked yesterday night. Well, I guess it's reasonable since the ingredients he used was of the highest quality after all."

"W-what? What is this? It's shining! And this smell… i-its making my body hot!" Erina said, this fragrance was really weird! It made her excited!

It was not just her but everyone who smelt the fragrance had the same reaction!

Hito spoke. "Now it's time for you guys to try it. It's best when it's still hot. Try it please!"

All of the judges nodded, and then used the small spoon to scoop the yolk inside.

After that one by one they started to put it inside their mouths when suddenly their eyes widened!

They experienced an explosion of flavors! All kinds of flavors were experienced by their tongue! It wasn't disgusting at all! It was absolutely delicious! The combination of the flavors were simply indescribable!

This time the two old men weren't just half-naked! Only their underwear was left in their body!

While Alice and Miu's Nakiri bloodline was forcefully opened and they became half-naked! Leaving only their bras and panties!

Hito couldn't help but whistle at this sight. Now that was a bonus. There were also the sweet moans, the girls were making which was sweet music to his ears.

Erina cracked the egg, and like the others it was shining! It was literally shining! This was a great mystery to her!

She could make a dish sparkle but not shine, then she ate the egg. As the yolk was tasted by her tongue her eyes widened!

There were literally hundreds of kinds of flavors within this egg! It's ingredients were also in the hundreds! How was that possible?!

Erina looked at Hito with disbelief! Yes, she knew what kind of ingredients were inside of it since it was the ability of her God Tongue to know everything once she tasted the dish once. However there was no way she could replicate this dish!

It was impossible for her current skills! Because it required an amazing amount of concentration. Just a slight mistake would literally make it taste like sh*t!

She didn't want to admit… but she couldn't deny the fact that Hito was a lot better than her!

She was also half-naked right now showing her pink flower bra, but she didn't notice it because of her defeat.

Erina suddenly felt like her cheeks were slapped by an invisible hand! She was so embarrassed that she wanted to dig a hole and hide within it!

Her boasting was simply pathetic! Erina was simply too red right now, then she remembered what she said before the cooking match.

She said "I'll show you that you are nothing!"

Heck! It was the opposite instead! She was nothing compared to him! She couldn't look at Hito.

Because it was making her embarrassed to death! She realized that no matter how good she was, there was always someone better than her!

She really thought that she was the best chef of her generation mainly because of her God Tongue.

Now her pride shattered, her confidence collapsed, she lowered her head in front of Hito.

Today Erina who was known to be the best of her generation tasted defeat from a 'nobody' like Hito!

Erina was afraid that Hito would mock her after he defeated her so easily. What he made wasn't even considered a dish!

It was just another type of snack and it still defeated her dish brutally. However the mocking that she was expecting from Hito, didn't happen.

Hito tasted Erina's Omelette and he even praised her. "Your Omelette is good! You are really a Prodigy!"

Hearing that, she wasn't really happy especially after she was defeated… then Hito suddenly touched Erina's chin and lifted it.

The two of them were looking at each other's eyes while Hito said with a smile.

"You did your best, don't be discouraged! I'm not going to mock you because of that. What you did was natural since I am a 'nobody' who suddenly challenged your grandfather, but Erina right? I'm waiting for the day that you can defeat me! Also… you should wear another shirt.. I can see your cough- bra you know.."

Hearing that while Hito was touching her chin, her face blushed. Her heart was beating like crazy. The way she looked at Hito changed drastically.

She never felt this feeling before! Her body was hot, but it wasn't bad in fact it was really good!

Confused by her current state, she immediately moved away from Hito, then she turned around so that she could avoid looking at Hito!

But it wasn't because of shame, but because of the strange feelings that she felt at her heart!

She had a lot of question marks in her head ???

Erina was confused, then she gently touched her heart that was beating like crazy, then after a moment of thinking.. she finally found the answer.

'P-perhaps this is what they call love?' Erina thought, but she didn't know if she was right or not.

Her feelings weren't that strong yet, she was still in the middle of confusion.

Then finally Senzaemon announced. "It seems that I've underestimated you kid...you are simply… a monster. That's the only way to describe you. There's nothing else which is more perfect than that! In just a little decade your skill in cooking is equivalent to my whole life achievement in cooking! It's unbelievable but it's true.. there is no need to ask, you win! You'll challenge me after this! I have never been this excited to challenge someone in my life!"

Alice and Miu finally regained their sanity, and both of them immediately hid their bras from Hito.

Alice was slightly embarrassed while Miu wasn't really hiding it… it was pretty obvious that she wanted someone to see it.

She only covered the useless part but she didn't cover her melons.

Overall all of them agreed that Hito won the match between him and Erina. Then he looked at Senzaemon and spoke.
