Alternate timeline

In an alternative reality.

"Hey Paradox, why have you brought me here?" A boy with black undershirt with a white jacket with green highlights, black jeans, and a number 10 on his jacket(just imagine Omniverse ben after the recreation of the universe.) said with a cocky expression to a old man with white hair, a lab coat and weird steam punk like parts attached to his body.

By the boys side stood a man in black with a X shaped scar on his face with a weird belt full of weirdly colored metals, a 16 year old red-head with a book that had runes carved on it and an old man with an orange floral shirt, grey pants and a smiling expression on his face.

Theses were of course Ben 10 Prime, Gwen, Kevin, Grandpa Max and paradox.(You can imagine them in any art style but I will be using Omniverse aliens for Ben and Omniverse and alien force and ultimate alien powers for Gwen and Kevin.)

"Ben. I have detected massive changes in an alternate timeline. The weird thing is that they are self contained and self caused."

At this point Ben raised his hand and said in a sarcastic tone.

"English please?"

"All the changes in the timeline are happening from inside. Nobody went there and changed things, it just changed without outside interference."

This time Gwen interrupted.

"Well, what if it is another person who fell into the time stream but didn't leave his own timeline like paradox here."

"Sadly Gwendolyn, That is not the case. Such events make changes in the future and have certain effects that didn't take place when these changes happened in the alternate timeline. We have no idea what is happening and we have to go exploring into that timeline."

Kevin interfered by raising his hand and speaking out,

"Ok, gotta save the world. Been there done that. Why are you inviting us? What happened to Ben's sidekick? That rookie?"

"His name was rook and he is busy with a family issue on his home planet and I though that we could become a team like in the good old days. Remember when you and Ben beat vilgax into the null void when you both were 10 and the amount of times the 'alien force', as the media called it, saved the world. Plus my birthday is coming up and this is my wish."

Grandpa max spoke up with a desire for adventure in his voice and nostalgia that was felt by everyone in the room.

"You know what? Let's do it. I miss kicking ass with Kevin and Gwen was fun plus we know each other's moves better than some rando plumber replacement for rook. Plus it has been pretty quite for a while and I wanna see what causing these changes-"

"And I though little Ben would never mature" Gwen though outloud but Ben kept on going.

"I could be rich in that timeline. I could buy sumo slammers!!!!"

"Stop joking around Ben. I know you are exaggerating for the sake of annoying Gwen."

Max scolded Ben as paradox smiled looking at the happy family.

"Sadly, I must interrupt your family moment because we have to get into that dimension ASAP. It is hard to open a portal to another universe. So you guys decided?"

Gwen,Ben,Kevin and max looked at each other and nodded before walking into the 10 feet across green portal that paradox created.

Once everyone had entered, paradox went in last and the portal closed behind him.

Fanfic universe(the one in which my fanfic takes place, will be known as B-420)

In the wilderness, a green portal 10 feet across opened as Ben stepped out of it followed by Gwen, Kevin and max in that respective order.

Gwen spoke up once she reoriented herself and looked around to see wilderness and her companions but she noticed some thing missing.

"Hey where is paradox? He was supposed to be our guide."

Ben and Kevin's also looked around to see nobody but themselves, Gwen and Max.

Before they could panic they heard an voice coming from everywhere, almost an ethereal whisper in their ears.

"I am sorry but I couldn't make it due to difficulties in the time stream. Check ya pocket for I have filled them with notes about what to do and how. I am truly sorry."

As soon as it had come, the voice went away. Leaving a group 3, 16 year old and a very confused 66 year old(Max was 60 in the OG show) stranded in the wilderness.

Max took a deep breath and calmed down as he felt the insides of his pocket for a note before finding it in his back pocket. He took it out and read it out loud.

"Sorry about That, if you are reading this then I didn't make it with you guys but fear not. I managed to conclude that the changes to the timeline were cause by Ben from this universe. All you have to do is track him down and observe for any possible changes. Best of luck lads."

"Ugh, how are we supposed to find my alternate self? Sigh. What would rook do? I know he would camp at my home until alternate me came back home from school."

"That. That is an actually good idea. I didn't know you had those Ben." Gwen said as she closed here eyes to try and sense anything to any landmarks.

"Good news. I can see a town in the distance. But I also sense .. is that me? I can sense this version of me but something feels off about her. Let's head there and track them to observe any changes."

The four nodded and they were about to start walking when they heard a voice from behind them. The voice was smooth and silky almost pleasant to hear but it also made the hairs at the back of their neck stand upright.

"That won't be necessary."

They turned around as Bens hand came close to hitting the omnitrix, Gwen's hands were encompassed in a pink circle, Kevin's hand touched a metal part of his belt and Max's hand went into his shirt and tightened around a blaster. The saw a pitch black figure cloaked in the darkness with bright emailed green eyes standing on top of a massive rock formation. There were wisps of green aura flowing from his eyes and he radiated mystery. He had something on his shoulders but they could make anything out.

"Who are you, come out." Ben shouted as his hand touched the omnitrix and a slew of alien heads popped on a holographic display.

"Why are you so hostile to me? After all I know you better than yourself."

The smooth voice said as he stepped forward forward and into the moon light. The mysterious figure turned out to be a young 8 year old looking boy with a black shirt and green highlights and black pants. He had flowing brown hair that looked like it was in space.(imagine Super saiyan God ritual hair) and smooth skin with a very familiar facial structure. On his shoulder was a pitch void black pup with sharp and cute little claws.
