In A New World III

"Oh my goodness!" he exclaimed in awe.

The place exuded pure luxury. Every detail was meticulously arranged, and as he stepped through the door, he found himself in a lavish sitting room.

The couch was perfectly positioned, accompanied by a sleek black glass table and intriguing black square decorations on the walls.

The chandeliers, reminiscent of those found in palaces, although simpler, added a touch of grandeur to the room.

Venturing behind the couch, he discovered a kitchen, only partially separated by a wall. It was a far cry from what he was accustomed to. The chairs resembled those in a trendy bar, and an array of white cabinets with subtle black accents seemed to define the entire interior.

He moved onward, leaving the kitchen behind and reached the bedroom, which lay beyond the sitting room. There were two adjacent rooms after the sitting room. The first, the bedroom, was massive and spacious, while the adjacent door revealed a bathroom, unique in its own right.

Returning to the sitting room, he entered the next room, an equally expansive space. Along one wall, a weapon hanger displayed an assortment of swords.

Seating himself on the smooth, tiled floor, he mused, 'I'm feeling quite drowsy.'

As he began to drift off into slumber, the system's melodic voice and golden tab continued to disturb him, progressing through various stages.

The multitude of notifications left him nearly speechless.

"What in the world? The system has never behaved like this before. All it ever said was to copy and use skills. What's all this new information?" he muttered, scrolling through the notification panel.

"Wow... there's so much information," he marveled, overwhelmed by the data. A surge of adrenaline coursed through him, excitement mingled with trepidation.

"Goodness, I smell awful," he realized, stripping off his clothes and heading for the bathroom. He adjusted the shower to release warm water, performing the routine as though he'd done it countless times before. As he showered, he couldn't help but wonder, "How do I know how to do all of this?"

It wasn't just the shower; various images of places, people, names, and unfamiliar knowledge flooded his mind, causing a mild headache. He rested his hand on the wall, bowing his head into the shower in an attempt to ease the discomfort.

"What's the rush? I can take my time to figure all this out," he reassured himself, completing his bath.

Returning to the bed, he contemplated his new life. "I couldn't sleep on a beach due to dangerous sea beasts, but now I have a second chance. I should give it a try... but first, I need to confirm if there are sea beasts here. My phone!" he exclaimed, reaching into his bag and pulling out a device that he instinctively recognized but couldn't recall ever having seen before.

"It's like I've been using this all my life, yet it's my first time seeing it."

"Okay, no sea beasts... no beasts at all," he muttered as he began researching a country called Nigeria. It turned out to be a nation in Africa, one of Earth's seven continents, governed by democracy. Nigeria boasted thirty-six states and over two hundred ethnic groups, its economy, while not on par with the Donegean Empire, was relatively stable. He delved into research until his rumbling stomach demanded attention.

Putting aside his phone, he ventured into the kitchen, where the refrigerator held an assortment of food. He chose a dish he could identify – Jollof rice, and as he heated it, he couldn't help but anticipate the delicious flavors.
