Coincidence

Samuel gained the respect he has ever wanted in the school, he became very famous as the first and only student that has defeated Andrew, Andrew was very disappointed and he was full of shame. Stella tried moving on but she still continued to have flashes of when she and Samuel were together, Samuel never moved on, he did not even gave any other girl a chance in his heart, even Jenifer tried her best to win Samuel to her but to no avail. Peter kept on believing that Samuel and Jenifer were dating, Andrew and Stella broke up at their graduation while Samuel, Peter and Jenifer continued with their friendship. They all graduated with fantastic result everyone with their lives, Jenifer got a job at a Radio station, she be very famous been a journalist, Samuel was in search of a job but he still continued playing his basketball, is training with coach Mc Ederson wasn't over, Petter got a job at a company as a supervisor, he quitted playing basketball because of his job wasn't giving him at all, Jenifer continued running her father's company with her siblings. She offered Samuel a job but he wanted something more classic and less exotic, he wanted a job that would give him time for basketball. Although Jenifer was ready to give him whatever he ask for but he was too proud to accept her offer, Samuel stayed with Peter in his duplex apartment

Peter was the only one catering for the both of them needs and wants plus the little that Jenifer gives to Peter without Samuel knowledge. 

 everything continued in this routine for three years, Samuel never got a job because he was too occupied playing basketball and different tournaments, he became very famous in their locality, he has won different medal and championship for different teams, he earned a little from all this but he would just lavish it in drinking alcohol with either is team mate or friends. One day a scout hosted a tournament that involve thirty different teams, of all this teams ten were from other countries including USA. The tournament was set to be broadcasted by three station a Tv station and two radio stations and fortunately Stella company was contracted with this task. 

 Coach Nikel was another best manger in the city of California, Coach Mc Ederson wasn't interested in the tournament because whenever that scout host a tournament like that it has always been is team to win the tournament and no other team has ever defeated them, Coach Nikel called Samuel who has been waiting for the coach that would ask for his assistance, well lucky enough for Coach Nikel he was the first to ask Samuel to help them participate in the tournament. The list for Coach Nikel's team was set including Samuel's name and it was sent to the broad that hosted the tournament who in turn sent it to each station that were broadcasting. Before a match begins each stations were going to announce the name of every player and their team, Samuel's team fixture was set to be played on the third day. the scout name who hosted the tournament was Andrew father Mr Rashford who was the manger of Original Ballers team because of this Andrew was easily signed in because of his father influence. Samuel played for Young Stars and he was given the captainship title because of his years of experience,

 Stella was surprise to see Samuel name on the list of players, just as she was about to call out the names of the opposing team Andrew who was also their captain was the first, she couldn't believe her eyes, it reminded her what happened back then at school, " Andrew and Samuel again, these two would kill each other, I thought Andrew travelled out of the country, how come he's still playing basketball" she said to herself, she had so much interest to the extent she lied that she was sick and she could not broadcast the match all because she wanted to watch it live. 

 Both Ex-students saw each other and were surprise, Samuel walked up to Andrew as they were warming up " hey bro, so you finally found a way to make it to the top" Samuel's expression soundly really annoying and Andrew wanted to give it to him but he had to calm down knowing that he can not defeat Samuel, Samuel wasn't bother about playing against Andrew but these wasn't the same story with Andrew, he had to tell his father about the incidence that took place while there were at school, and it created a little panic for Mr Rashford, he instructed the strongest player in his team to take down Samuel even if it causes them a player, but they must find a way to take Samuel out. The game began and Samuel's team were holding the point 12 to 7, before the end of the first half Mr Rashford made a change, during the break Coach Mc Ederson approach Samuel, Samuel was surprise to see his coach because he knew that he wasn't interested in the tournament, " coach what are you doing here" he said in shock, " I heard you were participating and I wanted to see how you'd perform here. You must be careful how you play here because no matter the amount of scarifies you put you guys can never win this tournament" said Coach Mc Ederson. Samuel understood the fact that no one has ever won that championship except the host team, but he had some confusion when it comes to ' no matter the amount of scarifies', just before the game was set to resume Andrew approach Samuel and whisper in his ear " some people career might end here today" he said this word and left Samuel, just as the second half was about to begin. Stella arrived at the court, she saw her two Ex- Boyfriends live playing against each other, the second half began and Samuel played the game with full observation, the newly sub player from the Original Ballers team was just after Samuel, wherever Samuel was you would always find the player close to him, he became Samuel's shadow on the court and it made Samuel really uncomfortable because the player wasn't giving him a breathing space to make use of the ball. 

 The points were beginning to close up to a tie and Samuel needed to do something, he swapped position with other players but the sub still stayed on him. He begged his coach to sub him that he wasn't understanding the game anymore, it became really frustrating for him, but the Original Ballers never wasted a chance and in no time there were able to check up and even held the point. Samuel knew he wasn't meant to be the play maker anymore and it was time he gave the other players a chance to shine, well basically everyone knew that because of Samuel's experience in the game he felt no one should and can score more points more than him and these made him really selfish in giving pass that could lead to points. He decided to play defensively and stay back the sub who has been on Samuel's neck all day was foolish enough to have also stayed with Samuel in their own box making is own team to have a short one player in their own box, during the second half break Samuel instructed his team mate on how to play a team that has a short one on their own box. The game resumed and Samuel's idea began to lead to more points, it was a miracle that before the dying minute Young Stars were having a tie with the Original Ballers team, during the last thirty second the ball was return back to Samuel due to the opposition tight defence, Samuel decided to try to port the ball from half the court, the sub who was given the duty of marking Samuel immediately threw himself at Samuel. After few minute of been unconscious Samuel woke up and saw everyone jubilating, he stood up and looked at the score table, he actually ported the ball giving his team a three point lead, Stella was so excited that she forcefully make her way to the court to congratulate Samuel, Andrew saw Stella and Samuel together and he could not stand it he left the court and went outside where he received more embarrassment, some of the press started asking that some people are saying that, ' that wasn't the first time Samuel was defeating you and you should know by now who's the boss', Andrew was so upset that even the crowd had to give him space so he could leave. The tournament hasn't been won yet but everyone were happy that Original Ballers were already out of the league, Samuel and Stella left the court together and there both went to a bar to celebrate his victory and catch up from old times.
