Fire

The present

After bidding farewell to the mountains ,the whole staff got on their journey to the city .These vacation has unwrapped like a new chapter in the life of both Shellina and Soo Hyun .By the time they reach their respective homes ,their bodies had already given up the hope of survival .They put their luggage a side and pushed themselves on bed to engage in deep sleep.

In the middle of the night ,Soo Hyun got up to to quench his thirst but when got back to the room found his curtain burning .He quickly went back to the kitchen and took out the few water bottles that were struck in his refrigerator .But nothing seemed to happen when he splashed the water on the curtain . Instead the whole room was now encircled with a ring of fire with Soo Hyun being in the middle .All his paperwork ,wardrobe everything seemed to be burning. His head started to feel sick due to the smoke ,He was sweating and he breath went heavy .He was becoming nauseous, when just on time his phone rang ,without wasting a second he pulled the phone out, the room was full of smoke and his eyes couldn't see the caller , also it was no time to even see it ,he clicked on the green and asked for help but before he could utter another word like his address or any other information ,his conscious gave up and his whole body fell upon the stone hard surface of his room .

He flipped his eyes until his blur vision was clear .For a moment he looked at the plain white surfa the of the ceiling but then roamed his head around to wonder where he has finally arrived .A nurse standing near IV drop responded to his sudden movement

"Sir ,are you feeling fine ?" She bended and asked in a pleasing voice .

"Hmm"ne noded.

The nurse checked his heart rate in electrocardiographic machine .

" You sure seem fine " she said smiling " we still need to do some tests , if you need anything just tap this red button and I'll be there in a moment ."she added pointing at the red button located near his pillow head.

"Sister ,how did I come here ?..I mean who got me hear "

"It was girlfriend ,who got you here "

"What ?Who ?"he exclaimed .

" Ahh ..that beautiful slender lady with long hairs and white skin "

Soo Hyun still gave a confused look .

"That with a Shirl but loud voice and a very bad personality "her voice degraded as she said so .

"Oh ,was her name Shellina?"

"Yah ,I guess so "

"Yah, otherwise who could have been with such a bad personality "she whispered to himself .

"What ?"

"Nothing "

"I should say this but ...you shouldn't offend your girlfriend ,it seems like she'll seriously kill you " she said hesitating.

"Actually she is not my girlfriend "

" Oh .."

"By the way ,where is she now "

"She is completing some necessaries "

"Ohh" he nodded .He lifted his body up and sat down taking the help on a pillow on his back .

Just as the nurse left Shellina entered the room with Mr Kim along her side .

"Oh !you got up ! How're you feeling now ?"

"Better ,....how did I get here ?"

"Ohh that ...you only called me asking for help ….No actually I called you last night …. actually I needed that jewel document tomorrow no today , that's why "

"But that was midnight ..are you sure ?"

"Why .. can't I call you in the middle of the night?"

"No ..I mean yes "

"Then shut up and sleep "

"But what about my house ?"

"Ah about that your room I had taken care of that and your room will be restored in a week "

Mr Kim interrupted .

"But till then ,I am not going to stay here ,right ?"

"Till then you can stay with me " said Shellina and an unusually calm voice .For a moment both Soo Hyun and Mr kim stood staring at her .

"What?" She asked .

"No ..I mean it's okk ,I can stay in a hotel "Soo Hyun hesitated .

"It's fine you can stay at my place " this time she smiled ,which made both Soo Hyun and Mr Kim awkward ."Now the conversation is over and I am going ,when the tests are over bring Soo Hyun at my place ".added Shellina and left the place .

Now both Mr Kim and Soo Hyun stared at each other in amusement .

Have I done something wrong? thought Soo Hyun .

What is she thinking? though Mr Kim .

After a moment Mr Kim too left the room .

But how did that curtain catch fire ?
