After coming out of the cafe without being able to finish that chocolate bomb, I called Hina for the first time in about two weeks. I knew it was going to happen sooner or later, always more likely to be sooner than later. No matter how I was feeling or what other things were going on around us and in my head, work was work and I could not leave Hina all on her own as we were about to enter the crucial stage of finally submitting our FTAP proposal. Most of the project details were already set - Hina and I have worked hard on that with support from an enthusiastic team of newly promoted managers, and the technical team has been ironing out the details. Still, I had to be there for the final hurdle.

"How have you been?", I asked Hina. 

"Bored without you"

"Miss, there's so much to do at the company I can't understand how you can possibly be bored"
