22 Chapter 4 - Springtime (6)

Lexia screamed in fright as one of her pursuers magically created a mass of soil and shot it at her.

Seeing that a dangerous projectile was heading towards him, Lexia rolled over the ground, but her attacker's magic power was apparently higher than what she presumed, and the impact caused more damage than expected.

"U-uhh…" Lexia groaned in pain after tumbling on the ground.

"Quit stalling for time! It'll be better if you just obediently die from the beginning…" One shrouded figure taunted Lexia.

"Your escort is pitiful, too, right? As a result of escorting you, they're getting attacked by us," another one joined in taunting.

"They were desperate to let you escape, but aren't those Knights dead by now?" And another one joined the fun.

As the mysterious group threw unpleasant words at Lexia, she couldn't respond because she was in pain.

Speaking of Lexia, she was the first princess, but she was a child born between the present King and a concubine — a slave.

Or to be precise, her mother was not a "Human". Her mother was a "High-Elf" which had even better appearance among the excellent appearance of an "Elf".

The King fell in love at the first sight with such a High-Elf slave and loved her as a concubine, and before long, Lexia was born.

However, soon after giving birth to Lexia, her mother died. The king was very sad and raised Lexia with all love and care of a doting father.

But one day, an incident occurred.

High-Elf originally possessed high magic, and Lexia, even as a Half-Human, inherited their excellent appearance and magic, and one day her magical power went out of control. As a result, the first prince who was nearby was seriously injured.

Fortunately, there were no after-effects left, and he had been healed completely, but…

Lexia was alienated by the queen, the mother of the first prince, and the nobles of the first prince faction.

Due to her origin of birth, she has been subjected to various types of harassment behind the King's back.

"U… Uhh…" Lexia began sobbing on the ground as her harsh life flashed in her mind.

She was grateful to her mother for giving birth to her, and she didn't hold a grudge against her father who cared and loved her.

However, the surroundings harassed her mercilessly. Even if she was of the royal family, her status could become misfortune depending on the circumstances.

Lexia had been desperately living in such a cruel environment, but now she was about to be killed like this, her tears falling involuntarily.

If she had lived a more normal life… Yes, she had thought about it, but reality was different.

"Now, it will be silly to have an idle-talk and be attacked by monsters. Go die quickly!"

Lexia could only sob, muffling her voice in this very miserable and helpless situation.

One of the men of the mysterious group tried to shoot his magic mercilessly toward Lexia…

It was then that it happened…

"Grooooaaaaaar!"

"What!? Goblin General!?"

Suddenly, a monster attacked the mysterious group.

It had dark brown skin and malicious golden eyes like those of reptiles. Its bulging muscles, with a height as tall as an adult man, were covered by fine-quality armor giving off a very intimidating aura.

While gushing nasal breath from its big aquiline nose, it released a strong swing from its giant sword that was as tall as itself. The blow was tremendous, and the mysterious attackers of Lexia that tried to unleash their magic on the Goblin General turned into a mass of meat in front of its giant sword in an instant.

They couldn't even be able to cry miserably because their deaths were too swift!

Those who were about to kill Lexia were killed just like that. Her expression was tinged with fear after seeing that.

Lexia got up from her crouching position and tried to run away in a hurry, but she didn't have the strength to move her legs. She also realized that her dress was ruined when she dodged the lump of magical dirt from one of her mysterious attackers before, and one of her breasts spilled out in the open.

While she was unable to move, the Goblin General had turned its attention on her. Lexia looked back and saw a large amount of blood and pieces of flesh were scattered all over the area, and the goblin general was covered in blood of her mysterious attackers.

"Ah…" Lexia released a despairing gasp.

It was then that her body gave up the will to live despite her intentions. No matter how much she tried to escape, her body wouldn't listen at all. 

The Goblin General quietly stared at Lexia, who was overwhelmed with fear and despair. Even her will to live was lost.

The Goblin General calmly approached the stunned Lexia. And when it arrived in front of Lexia, it stabbed its giant sword on the ground.

What happened next made her skin crawl and her stomach filled with disgust.

The Goblin General suddenly took off its lower armor, showing its erection.

And it was huge, like, it was around the size of her forearm!

It was Lexia's first time seeing male genital, and she never expected that the male genital she saw for the first time belonged to a monster!

As a princess, she didn't lack education, so she knew how babies were made. However, the size of the monster's genitalia was too big, wasn't it? Would it fit her?

No way! She would rather die than letting the monster do it with her!

And it's not like she ever wants to lose her chastity to a monster of all things!

However, that's beside the point. Lexia realized that her fate would be worse than death by the Goblin General's big sword…

…the real one, not the metaphorical one!

At least, being killed with the Goblin General's giant sword is painless and not humiliating unlike what she would suffer if that monster used its "biological sword".

'No! Not like this! It's better to die than this!'

Lexia screamed in her mind since her body and even her mouth were frozen in absolute despair.

When Lexia was in absolute despair, something happened. Her salvation.

Something suddenly flew toward the Goblin General.

Surprisingly, the Goblin General sensed it and prevented the unknown flying object from hitting it with its giant sword. However, it wasn't enough.

The impact striking the giant sword which had prevented the flying object was tremendous, and even the Goblin General's extremely durable sword  couldn't endure it and snapped into two. Then, the object punched through the Goblin General's body, creating a hole in its torso.

Not far behind the Goblin General, a spear hit the ground and made a crater.

The Goblin General cried unwillingly as death claimed it. However, it turned in the direction where the spear had come with its last moment to look at the person who felled it before turning into particles of light.

And when Lexia turned her gaze in the same direction as the Goblin General…

"Are you alright?"

She saw an elegant young man with an extremely charming appearance and unique armor rushing over to her location in a hurry. With glossy black hair and eyes that reminded her of the moonless and starless night sky, the mysterious young man somehow brought up the air of a foreign nobleman.

She'd never seen such a charming and unique young man in her entire life, so his appearance gave her a deep and lasting impression. More so when he appeared when she was on the brink of absolute despair.

After seeing the mysterious young man, Lexia for some reason felt reassured and secure. Thus, because of that feeling of security, her tension broke, and she fainted on the spot.

Overall, this is similar with how it happened in the novel, though I added my own twist. Sorry if the twist is kinda lame, but I can't help it. There are a helpless elf (half-elf in Lexia's case) and a goblin, so…
