"Lucian...I asked you something and you are again spacing out" Ariana stated as she rolled her eyes on him in frustration.

Lucian snapped out of his thoughts and looked at the girl who was now frowning while staring at him.

"Huh, nothing... I just happened to think about her." he lied.

Lucian couldn't tell her anything knowing how curious this girl might get and start another investigation about it.

It was better for him to be sure first before he concludes anything to her.

Ariana's frown cleared as she believed his words. The mention of Martha made her miss her too. It has been so many days since she last talked with her.

After their last visit, she hardly got time to call her. 'It's been a while since I talked with Martha.' she thought suddenly falling into silence as her mind was now busy wondering how she must be doing.
