8 Orchid University

"Is there anything you need, tell me I will ask Fret to fetch it for you" Lucian didn't want her to feel homesick. Now that she was with him, she had to accept this new change.

Ariana quickly shook her head denying his reflex. "No... I don't want anything. You already gave me more than I imagined" she muttered averting her eyes from him.

She had everything she could ever wish for and was grateful to him that he kept her liking into consideration before renovating her room.

Fret told her that his master personally hired an interior designer after asking Martha about her likes and dislikes. The color she liked the most to her favorite food, he went on asking her everything.

No doubt the food she eat for lunch had most of her favorites.

"Then why do you keep missing your orphanage" Lucian questioned.

Ariana was surprised by his question. She didn't know that Lucian wouldn't understand such a simple thing. 'Because she missed them and it's not easy to forget that place where she had created most of her memories'

"It's not that easy to forget about certain things but rest assured, I will happen to like this place too. Just give me some time" Ariana smiled faintly with assurance.

Lucian looked at her for a few seconds before he bobbed his head in agreement. He didn't want to prolong this topic when she had already assured him.

Finishing the dessert, Ariana was about to excuse herself to the room when Lucina stopped her. "Ariana, wait"

Ariana paused and looked back at him and watched him motion Fret something. The man pulled out an envelope from his suite and passed it to Lucian.

"This is for you," he said passing that same envelope to her.

Ariana creased her brows in confusion and took the envelope from Lucian." Have a look" she heard him and quickly followed his words.

Opening it, she noticed a bunch of paper inside it and snapped her attention at Lucian who had his eyes watching her intently.

Pulling out the papers she read the words written on them in bold and her eyes widen in shock. "This.." her lips quivered as she couldn't believe what was written on it and she looked at Lucian with an unexplainable expression.

"I have enrolled your name in Orchid University. You can continue your Philosophy Course from there" Lucian finished and observed her eyes well with tears.

"H-how did you..." she was about to ask but stopped when she felt a lump in her throat and she quickly blinked her eyes hiding her tears from everyone.

"Now that you are my responsibility. I have to fulfill yours every dream and studying Philosophy is one of them. Am I right"

Ariana bobbed her head like a child as a smile break on her lips. "Thank you so much" She expressed her gratitude to him.

It was always been her dream to study Philosophy since she has always been fond of having immense knowledge of everything. Her love for wisdom and learning new things started after she begin helping Martha with various things.

The old lady was like a book that carried knowledge within herself and also liked to share it with her kids. It was then Ariana realized her dream as she wanted to follow in Martha's footsteps and wanted to pursue wisdom.

Lucian felt his heart swell with happiness when he saw her smile at him. This was nothing in comparison to what he wanted to give her. He wanted her to rely on him to the extent that she wouldn't remember anyone but him.

He wanted to be the only person she could come looking for whenever she would face any difficulty. He wanted to be the only man in her life.

Ariana held the papers firmly in her hand and once again thanked Lucian before she left the dining area.

The moment she was out of their sight, Lucian's face turned back to his usual cold one and he turned his attention to Fret.

"Is the work done?" he asked.

"Yes, Master" Fret answered.

"I don't want any mistakes from here on. If she happens to find anything unusual about us then be ready to face the punishment" Lucian warned with his blank eyes focused on Fret.

"Y-Yes Master" Fret flinch at the deadpan eyes quickly agreeing with his warning. He knew this warning wasn't fleeting or said to scare him but the truth.

Lucian wasn't someone who liked to warn someone without the ability to execute it. He wasn't called the powerful Alpha for any reason and Fret was very well aware of it.

Getting Fret's reply, Lucian got up from his head seat and was about to leave but stopped. "Next time I don't want Veronica to step foot inside my house. If she does, then feel free to eliminate her" With that, he walked away from there leaving Fret speechless.

The next morning Ariana got ready to go to the University. She was yet to absorb her happiness but after reading the admission papers, she realized that she had to join the college the next day.

Everything happened so fast that she still thought it to be a dream from which she didn't want to wake up.

Last night after returning to her room, she informed Martha about her enrollment in Orchids. She was so happy for her that she wished her good luck with her new journey and also wished to come to meet her soon.

Happy with her words, Ariana couldn't sleep the entire night as she kept tossing and turning over her bed thinking about her collage.

Ariana finished her schooling in the Angles Eye home scoring higher grades in academics. She was a smart student with a bright future and Martha wanted to provide her with the best education, but everything changed after Lucian's appearance.

She was hesitant on expressing her wish to continue her education, but before she could speak, Lucian fulfilled her wish without letting her know about it.

Ariana's lips curled into a beautiful smile as she glanced at herself in the mirror. Wearing her tight-fitting jeans and a crop top she tied her hair into a ponytail.

She wasn't fond of make-up and stuff and preferred a natural look. Taking a final glance, she turned around and picked up her backpack before she stepped out of her room.

Orchid University was one of the top universities where kids from elite families came to pursue their education. They had the best staff who provided good education to the students helping them pursue their dreams.

After going through their overview Ariana was surprised that she would be completing her education at such a renowned college. All thanks to Lucian who happened to surprise her with something unimaginable.

Reaching the dining area for the breakfast, Ariana found Lucian was already present there. The moment he lifted his head in her direction she felt her breath hitched.

He looked like those princes in the fairytale book with a perfect face along with prominent features. He didn't wear those royal clothes but formal from where she was able to notice his masculine figure.

'I think I gonna faint' she told herself as she made her way towards the breakfast table.

"Everything set," Lucian asked. His eyes never parted from her beautiful face.

'This girl... she will be the death of me' he mumbled to himself and watched her bob her head.

Ariana wore decent clothes emitting her natural look, but even that simple appearance was able to stir his heart.

The moment she pulled the chair next to him and settle down, unknown to her Lucian's hand reached to her face and he tucked the piece of hair behind her ear.

Startled Ariana looked at him with wide eyes. She had been trying to keep her teenage hormones behind bay but if he keeps fluttering her heart like this, she will surely end up kissing him.

'Ari... don't you dare go on thinking that way' her subconscious mind smacked her head, but she was too immersed in that beautiful face, not ready to look away.

"Ahem..."

Fret who walked out of the kitchen witnessed the most mind-blowing scene in front of him. His master was actually acting out of his character and that almost caught him and a few maids around them off-guard.

He was almost on the verge of dropping the food he carried in his hand but then he reminded himself of getting used to this kind of gentle behavior from his master.

Both Lucian and Ariana snapped out of their thoughts and turned their head towards Fret who passed them an awkward smile. "The breakfast is ready" they heard him say.

Lucian quickly pulled his hand away from Ariana's face whereas Ariana she felt like digging her hole for herself. 'This was so embarrassing' she cried mentally and lowered her head.

Sensing the tension around Fret quickly motioned to the maids asking them to serve the food. The entire breakfast Ariana didn't lift her head up and just kept eating her meal, but Lucian on the other hand shot a glare at Fret who happened to disturb his precious moment with her.

'What did I do' Fret question himself when he felt Lucian's cold glare falling at him.
