Ariana kept pouring until her eyes ran out of tears and everything turned numb. Forcing herself, she stood up from the floor and picked up her scattered clothes.

Silently wearing them, she walked towards the bed but stopped. Turning her attention towards the mirror, she let out a disgusting chuckle. Her eyes moistened and her chuckle slowly turned louder into laughter.

"What have you gotten yourself into Ariana? First, your parents left you and now the person whom you trusted the most betrayed you" She smiled at her reflection, scolding her for being a fool who couldn't see this coming.

She always thought no matter whether her parents loved her or not, at least she had a few people who genuinely cared for her. Among those was Lucian who paved his way to her heart, making it hard for her to resist him.
