Putting Ariana to bed, Lucian then left for his study. It took him a while to make her sleep as the girl looked more than refreshed after the hot bath.

Heaving out a sigh, Lucian settle on his chair and was about to resume his work, when he received a call from Caspian.

"Huh... five missed calls already" Lucian frowned and quickly answered the call without any delay.

"Alpha.." the older healer aka the dean voiced from the other end.

Lucian's eyes turned stiff when he sensed the anxiousness in his voice, so he quickly asked. "What is it Caspian" his cold voice was enough to drop the temperature around.

A pin-drop silence embraced the study room with Lucian carefully listening to Caspian's each and every word.

After almost two minutes, Lucian finally responded. "Tell him to wait. I'll be right there" saying Lucian ended the call and got up to leave.
