Julianna momentarily took a step back and looked away. Those deadpan eyes drilled holes into her body, and no matter what she couldn't keep up staring at them.

"I... I am not trying to hide it" she stuttered, trying to act cool, but the feeling of his eyes on her wobbled her knees.

Unable to stand the crawling of his intense gaze, she decided to face him.

"Yes!.. Yes, I am trying to hide it because... it's not the right time to disclose about us to Dad" Julianna justified.

She too wanted to tell her father everything, but sensing the severity of the situation, she changed her mind.

Drake remained quiet. Her words did make sense and as much as he wanted to make his relationship with Julianna official, however, he also knew the time wasn't right.

"Hmm, I think you are right" he agreed after a pause, easing Julianna's worries.
