[Lucian's Mansion]

Ariana stayed inside the room focusing on her study.

She was so engrossed that she didn't realize the count of time and kept herself busy, until she heard someone knock on her door.

Assuming it must be Fret, she quickly walked towards the door and opened it only to find Lucian standing in front of her.

Ariana gasped at his sudden visit but the moment she noticed the sullen look on his face, she fell into a daze.

'What's with that look?' she wondered.

Ariana was about to question him when he cut in speaking first, "You neglected me, Ari" 

"..."

"You said, you were tired and left but you have been busy studying, aren't you?" he sounded like a child who was pointing out her lie with a straight face.

Julianna on the other hand stilled. His words fell like a slap on her face as she slowly pursed her lips, feeling embarrassed about how shamelessly he spat those words.
